I've tried and it doesn't work. More bad information that keeps spreading throughout the forum about these workarounds. Maybe they did at one time, but they do not now.

Well, wonders be. Last time I tried that, I got the circle of death. I noticed there were a few days during the flash sale, it let me post links too. But most of the time it errors out and tells me I can't post them, It's still rather inconvenient. Is still a serious problem especially when the vast majority of the downrepping on this forum comes from a scammer. But GoG staff is too incompetent to stop it.

Did you even read the article? The developer claimed himself that the routine targets those copies with serial codes distributed on torrent sites. I would call that a fair bit of evidence.

At this point you see to be grasping at straws just to push your side.

GOG staff simply cannot be everywhere and as long as people don't report the thread it will be pure coincidence if they find it and decide if it should get closed or not. Same thing applies to banning specific users. I am no forum sherif and so I won't be the one reporting it.
