tomimt: Sure, but this does make them stand out even more from the competition. The best thing they can do, besides controlling the car, is streaming internet TV. Tesla, on the other hand, can say their car is a full entertainment package, where the passengers can even use the car computer to play games to pass the time.
If people want to play games I don't see why they wouldn't just play at home....or using a portable system(they sell systems...complete in cases with power supplies....that people can lug around to play games on iirc). :\

DiffuseReflection: According to some articles, Elon Musk has posted favourable tweets about Cyberpunk 2077's aesthetics, and also revealed that a new Tesla car model's entertainment system can play the game.

GamezRanker: I wonder...why would someone want to play an involved game like that in their vehicle?
maybe it drives itself, and always knows where you want to go because it's connected to your Google account...

Mmmm... consider vehicles that are self-driven... Consider that there is someone else driving... Then, long trips... two, three hours ahead... why not?

Two words:
Spontaneous Combustion.
Your Tesla battery is a bomb.
Why CDPR made every vehicle in their game a Tesla?
Well, they are very futuristic, obviously.

You mean, like people did with Steve Jobs?

Maybe people need technological messiahs/illusionists? To provide the way to go and ever new devices/gadgets?

New products all the time, the wheels must be kept spinning, the music needs to keep playing...

You know that moment in JRPGs when your party is imbued with the power of friendship and suddenly one-shots the final boss who was essentially god? We have that, too. In capitalism, when all the money in the world flows into you, you also become a god in your own right and your twitter account will move mountains. The system is so broken now that, much like an infinity +1 sword, your infinity +1 bank account will annihilate all opposition you may face.

So are cars with internal combustion engines when used improperly.

What the people of GOG need to learn is that there is a difference between improper use and improper design.
I can break things but I cannot break what was sold to me already broken.

So a car that drives itself, and it's linked to some corporation's servers all the time.....sounds like something i'd be totes willing to put my trust in. o.0

Might be nice....if one could ignore the sounds and sights of traffic and be able to focus on their games. But then why not build a portable console and take the game(s) with one wherever one goes? Better than keeping them "attached" to the car, imo.

(yeah they could put saves in the cloud, I guess....but some like their saves more under their control and not stored on some company's servers)

did you know you need special gear to stop battery fire? and they catch fire quite easy
if you have a apartment building with a garage below it you dealing with a ticking time bomb.
and that's not a overstatement

Business Insider has counted at least 20 reported incidents of Teslas catching on fire since 2013 and five deaths in the past 14 months.

do your math 26-april 2019 was the paper released the amount of cars 92.550 (0.021%) that's a quite a large number.

say you have 50 Mil tesla's in the near future it would make 10,500 that a tesla catch fire

If people knew the odds of bad things happening even by accident, some might not want to ever leave the house or buy/use anything.

20 cars malfunctioning in such a manner, when compared to the number of such cars made, is not that big a number....and imo nothing to worry too much about.

But... Cyberpunk 2077 is still a mess.
Yes, but moonchildren don't care, as ultrafoxes are nipping their heels and the very core of our existence is in turmoil.

One can't even start to comprehend the fact that fear of being good or bad leads to insurmountable conflicts between our inner beliefs of being a human, compared to having nothing to lose or gain in order to support the idea of common good being actually common bad, or vice versa.

Now that you mention it... Elon kinda reminds me of Peter Madsen.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-54612455

They even look alike! Their biggest difference is that Elon builds a spaceship in order to travel to the moon, while Peter built small submarines to travel to the depths of the seas. Both seem to like isolated places and are very eccentric, maniacal inventor-types.

Do they? Doubt that very much, especially as probably like me Elon doesn't even believe in the myth that is Jesus Christ.

Not many of the rich and motivated help humanity, and Elon is one of the few exceptions. He earns HUGE kudos just for that.
