i can't find that great vid where someone put shots of the first few MK games into actual home movies.

Also, I finally did manage a Babality on #9 the other day. It was pretty stupid. :P

Truth to be told, I actually went after it because of the sex and violence. I had heard how its sex and violence were awesome and stuff, so I wasn't expecting a pretty good story and characters into to it. So much so that the sex and violence felt gratuitous and unnecessary to the story, specially the sex.

It predates this by a few years and is significantly more violent (at least IIRC). Perfect if you loathe cuddly happy cartoon animals. ;)

Linko90: It's an exploitation game, that's kinda the point. No different to most of the exploitation cinema.
It's the same with movies. In some movies the violence fits and serves a bigger story. In others violence is just self-serving. I love Sin City and Clockwork Orange. But Kill Bill was just boring. Two full length movies with just enough plot for one TV-episode padded with lots of pointless fights. (a bit like The Hobbit. One movie worth of materialy padded to three movies with lots of orc battles, that get boring after a while)
