Is the original 2012 version even included? If not I hope gog.com can convince gog.com to also release it for sale.

It's sad when the original versions of video games are not included with some HD remasters or Redux or Definitive Editions.

Like Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux, but no Metro 2033 and no Metro Last Light.

I don't purchase HD remasters, Redux, Definitive Editions, Extended Editions or whatever new remake super max realistic graphics editions only if the original versions are also included or sold.

Steam still has for sale the original 2012 version of Hard Reset.

Why do video game publishing companies or video game development companies delist the old versions?
Johnathan, you are officially more annoying than me now.

Do you know how much of an accomplishment that is?

Most people said it could never be done.

I'm assuming because my topic appeared twice?

It's the good old gog.com delay that ate my first one :(.

So wait a minute or two. Refresh the forum page a couple times. No need to assume that, just because your thread didn't appear instantly, that it won't appear at all.

It's not that that I'm impatient and should wait for it to appear.

Sometimes when I click Post my message it appears twice.

I meant Flying WildHog...
I'd worry if the game play had significantly changed...all the other gubbins not so much.
I guess everyone is going to downvote the OP just because they don't like him, but I think it's a perfectly valid point, that the original versions of games should be included with the "remasters", or should be available as a separate purchase. Just like with movies,or TV shows- I don't want the remastered Star Trek TOS. I want the original in all it's glory with it's crappy 1960's tv special effects, no damn CGI.

People can prefer different versions and should always have the option to play the one they want.

I agree, that would be nice, but I don't think there is any possibility for that. The original version is still sold on Steam for 13,49 €.
And?

What's the problem?
How is it a graphical downgrade then? I thought it had been redone to get better graphics? Its a pretty Meh game overall, good for the couple of quid I spent on it, but nothing special.
To be honest, I can't even see the difference in two out of the three examples.

Me neither, not without looking very hard anyway.
Seeing as how it was basically a tech demo, it could be that some of those effects were hacks that they removed from the newer versions of the engine.
I would like to hear their explanation though.

This x2.
Coming to Hard Reset after having played Shadow Warrior 2013, I really missed the melee combat from SW2013.
