^ Not all lighthouse sculptures are excellent.
< I have one and it's of the Point Boliver lighthouse near Galveston, TX. I inherited it from my father after he passed; it reminds me of him and the times my grandfather told us of the 1900 hurricane and how two families survived the storm inside that lighthouse which still stands today.
v Do you have such a significant memento?
^ Pocketwatch that belonged to my grandfather. I don't think he ever used it, as it always sat on his desk in a display, but most of his stuff was stolen after he passed, so I'm lucky to have it.
< I slept a whopping two hours... it's going to feel like a long day.
v Time capsule will be opened in 100 years. What do you put in it?
^ Nothing personal. An atlas of the world. History books in different languages from different parts in the world. Books about philosophy and psychology, from classic times until today. Some novels from extraordinary writers like Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Camus and others. Other fictional works like The Wave, 1984, Brave New World. Lots of downloaded videos and articles about important events especially since 1990. I guess you see what I'd try to salvage. I could go on and on.
Some devices that can read the storage media until there is no more space in the capsule.
< I'm not sure what storage media can guarantee the safety of the data for 100 years (on consumer level). Digital storage makes the storage space of the time capsule virtually unlimited. Concentrating on only the important things would take an effort, I guess.
v "There's nothing new under the sun, except what has been forgotten". It's a mixed quote from the bible and Marie Antoinette (I had to google where it comes from). Do you have another depressing saying or quote to darken the day just a little further?
^ Never be remembered for being forgetful.
< I love to write and paint or draw
v What talent (one which may be unknown to others) do you have?

^ I made my own games using AGS(Chris Jones baby, I believe), long ago, with hand drawn then scanned MS painted graphics....garish looking affairs and very easy to beat, but they hold a place in my heart.
< I even know the site where I ULd them(an AGS game community based on a specific 'verse') and they are still there
v Have you ever had a hand on making something for others to share?
^ My volunteer job entailed joining a community to organize Whole Foods' discarded produce and bury anything too rotted, crushed, or moldy to eat under wood-chips for composting; anything we deemed good enough to still eat (and as volunteers, we get first dibs), we organize it onto the same trailer that brought the weekly load and it's parked on the side of an obscure road for anyone in the neighborhood to pass by and take whatever foods strike their interest.
< According to my high school history book, that 1900 hurricane made it all the way to Oklahoma before suddenly turning around back to the Appalachians.
v My browser spent most of today refusing to load any web-page in a new tab; I would have given up and continued my Monk binge into Season 3 if it weren't for YouTube's watch-later list progressing on its own.
> It's been so long since I watching anything slower than x2 speed, it's the only way to keep up with the news anymore.

^ Just so you know...the final line is supposed to be a prompt for the next person to reply to(a question or some other prompt they can reply to)....as for the tab loading issue: Did you try clearing your browser's DNS cache(or your PC's DNS cache)? That worked for me.

< I am glad you guys/gals offered the so so food to anyone who wanted it, btw....many such groups just toss it due to state/etc law...even if it is still edible. Also I love Monk(and Psych, and some other shows).

v Name one of Santa's reindeer without googling or binging or duckduckgoing it.
^ Dancer, because rhythm is a dancer. It's a soul companion. You can feel it everywhere!
< When I originally heard Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, I thought it was "Dirty Feet and the Thunder Chiefs".
v Weirdest lyrics you thought you heard wrong?
^ "Dirty deeds done with sheep", actually; thanks to AMV Hell 3.
< Doesn't have any idea what you mean by "DNS cache".
v I see no sense in not picking from any part of the post; response potential could be in any portion and I don't see a lack of that in my previous v or > portion.
^ The game's creator set the rules and I think we should respect them. I guess we may interpret the rules quite freely, but it is more or less:
^ Answer the question asked by the person above you. Posted after "v".
< This is where you are free to write what you want. You can also respond to any part of any post you want.
v Ask a question. This can be a new topic, you may also continue a topic already opened. A question in this scenario does not necessarily end with a question mark, like: "Post your favorite food." Hooyaah posted great examples in his opening post.

Please mind that English is not my native language and that I do not mean this post as an attack. Although I may sound rude it is not my intention. It is the result of my reduced vocabulary and impaired grammar.

< I would definitively partake in a forum game with other, more diverse rules, which could maybe lead to a somewhat deeper thread of thoughts, but I really like the "simple" rules here that can lead to very interesting results. I'm also aware that my posts are often too long for this game...

v Did you have to learn a foreign language in school, that you totally couldn't get a grip on? What was the bigger problem, grammar or vocabulary?

^ No, but I had to learn polish(polish community near my school) as a course in jr high....though I was mostly good at it, and had little trouble(being from that background myself).

< Look up clearing DNS cache for your browser or OS(This bit is to Michael)....it's super easy and can be done via command line(for the OS) and via a settings page in most browsers, and helps with slow page loads and other issues sometimes

v Would you like to go on a short hike through the nature? If so, with whom would you like to do it and where(saying with myself is a valid option as well in this case)?

^ I would like to walk off the beaten path in Honduras to include some bit of spelunking with my soulmate.
< ...knows that this is not likely to occur
v What would a perfect world look like?
^ Yes. Most of the time I enjoy the solitude. Only hearing the wind, the hum of insects. Just taking it all in.
< Not sure how well I would do in an arid climate.
v If it was announced that a trip to an off world colony was happening in one year, and you had the choice to go, would you?
^ No, because a "yes" would not allow for a return trip.
< There is not a known hospitable planet in range of Terra which is reachable within a human's lifetime.
v I'd like to ask the unanswered query yet again: "What would a perfect world look like?"

^ Physically: A world where every creature has it's needs met via some cornucopia style technology, and we had nanobots/etc to cure most if not all diseases(or mitigate their effects)

Mentally: One where everyone used their critical thinking skills and were well versed in things like philosophy/literature/STEM skills and info/etc.....and one where people didn't jump the gun/assume ill intent with so many things, let their emotion rule over their reason in bad ways, or get easily led astray by the more charismatic & silver tongued individuals.

< I myself am some of those things(mental list above), but sadly I am just one man against a mass of less "wise" beings.

v Do you ever contemplate the deeper mysteries?
