^ Occasional I'll delve into some existentialism theories, how Zoroastrianism would apply today, miscellaneous other thoughts.
< Now that my avatar transformation is complete, it is time to leave my lair once again.
v If you went to bed, and woke up in the 13th century, how do you think you would live? (Remember, if you have the means and knowledge to produce modern technology from scratch, it may be viewed as witchcraft or something similar.)
^ If I was isekai'd into that particular century, a plague rat and/or their plague fleas would spawn-camp me and I just die horrifically.
< Takes the whole Jurassic Park trilogy seriously; yes, even 3.
v How about that Avatar 2: Bio-luminescent Boogaloo?
^ wow
< morning fog
v It's going to be a good day today. Are you ready?
^ First thing when I woke up, I put unarmored Tony Stark in the free hot-rod and parked him between the garage door and security gate.
< Adding back spikes to Zilla Jr. was looking like the hard part, but not as much if I use curved snap-hole rods instead of bricks. This means I'll need to switch out several dark brown 1-by-4 side-nob bricks with long snap-hole bricks.
v Have you ever undergone a project that required going deep/taking everything apart/starting over from scratch just to fix/get right that one thing?
^ Yes, it was a mod for my favorite game, Sacred 2
< I have only made a couple of game mods.
v If you could modify a game which one would it be and how would it affect it?
^ Do you want the adventurous answer or the pervy answer?
< Filling any Fallout with Terminators seems like a good first project; just re-skin super mutants to look like chrome ghoul/Arnold hybrids, and synths in F4 can be T-1000s if given the ability to spawn melee weapons with custom "liquid metal" animations. How to implement Skynet is anyone's challenge.
v I once ghosted a Call of Duty demo by belly-crawling under tanks and along barricades, all NPCs suddenly ran out of bullets and/or fodder just as I got to the checkpoint. Have you ever cheesed a game to play it differently than intended and enjoyed it better that way?
^ Yes, I modified Quake 3 Arena so that the bot opponents had a much more complex chat capability; it became like playing live opponents online and I amended Sacred 2's camera settings for a better view and the balance file to allow different item offerings
< Game modification almost seems to be a necessity nowadays, as developers rush to a release before all bugs are squashed and other elements are tweaked to be better suited to the desires of gamers.
v What are three of your favorite things?
^ Changes as the years go by. Currenlty: my monkeys (stuffed animals), making breakfast, roadtrips (the monkeys go with me).
< The rushing of software being released before being fully tested is a trend that we created though. There will always be people available to beta test for free because they're too impatient. That's why I don't buy any games unless it's been out for a while (there were a couple of exceptions, and I knew better).
v Shiny and new, or old and maintained?
^ "Old and maintained" is one of the greatest keys to retaining wealth.
< I'm not so "shiny an new" myself, anymore.
v Do you still have an old and favorite childhood toy in your possession?
^ No, but I still have a childhood drinking glass and fork
< Thinks it is a nice thought his boy used both, too.
v Anything from your childhood living on with kids (or will with planned ones)
^ Only the feeling of insignificance and only because they will never exist.
< Even if I got married (please God no), she would be swearing to a life of never getting pregnant; adoption or nothing!
v Have you ever felt going against the grain was best, either for self-preservation or betterment of the world?
^ I usually wear black, still go to festivals (damn corona), have long hair. I guess that's going against the grain compared to Joe Normal, adding all the silly questions I've been asked
< Wonders why people can't get cliches out of their minds, even after decades proving those wrong
v So, have you've been asked silly cliche questions and which would that be?
^ Yes, just now.
< ruminating
v Please, inform me about something new and interesting which I don't already know.
^ Supposedly there's a stretch of Route 66 in New Mexico where if you drive the speed limit over the road grooves, the noise from your tires will buzz out the tune to America the Beautiful.
< Heartburn like crazy. Need to stay away from breakfast burritos.
v Favorite kid movie growing up?
^ Even as a kid I preferred older movies like The Wizard of Oz
< Somehow, newer 'kid movies' don't have the same sense of magic and innocence
v If you could go anywhere in the world for a week at no cost to you, to where would you travel?
