^ If I see something good in the trash, it's mine.
< On multiple occasions, I've passed a big-junk-pickup pile (that is, trash that's too big for the cans) with Lego in it; my biggest regret is that I probably missed a few bricks in the grass.
v Have you ever seen a discarded thing that you felt was too valuable or useful to let stay that way, and felt compelled to keep or share it?
^ I once told a friend that he could date my ex-girlfriend because I wanted her to leave me alone. Does that count?
< got a sweet set of Razer cans for Christmas
v Speakers or headphones for gaming?
^ Headphones for when I get complaints, speakers for the nudist freedom of my ears any other time!
< Protection from the elements is all well and good, but "indecency" is not an element.
v What laws of your home do you feel are unjust?
low rated
^ In my state you cannot legally use most fireworks because a few morans injured themselves while using them
(most people don't care about the law, but there are still a few 'karens' who will snitch on people)

< I feel on ice yesterday...now i'm a bit sore(but otherwise ok). It was mainly due to carelessness.

v Have you ever suffered an accident or other problem due to your own carelessness?

^ I was visiting yard sales mid-October 2014 and at a corner between sales that are each a block away, I stepped into a hole that was hidden by grass and twisted my foot sideways. The pain was bad enough that I couldn't get up for several minutes and the only car to not turn north (towards yard sales, probably) just ignored me.
< Eventually, the pain subsided enough that I got up and continued visiting sales; I knew I couldn't buy Lego from the one that had it because carrying that box would invite more pain in the foot, so they agreed to hold onto it until my parents generously arrived later.
v But I did go the hard-mode route and finish visiting more yard sales; by the time I was done fallowing signs from busy streets, the mile home had to be hopped on one foot because it turns out, the other one had swollen like a half-inflated purple balloon. Needing a week for the swelling to go down was worth it though, for a box of Lego!
^ Lego your obsession with tiny, colorful, attachable, plastic building blocks
< supposes everyone has their own driving desire
v What will you be doing one week from today?
low rated
^ The same thing I do do every week, OP...try to take over the foru....err, nothing....nothing at all o.0 ;)

< I am busy buying foodstauffs and such for New Year's Eve

v What are you planning for New Year's Eve....anything fun or memorable?
^ Scrabble with Mom and Grandma, the movie "1917" with Dad, and more Silent Hill 2 and/or Pokemon.
< Whether it's Platinum, Black 1, Alpha Sapphire, X, or Ultra Moon is not yet decided.
v Why is it I get more of a thrill out of receiving foreign Pokemon (as in, can't be caught; and even hatch-lings are fine if it's a new species) in trade than battling and leveling up?

^ Because, you "gotta collect them all."
< never got into Pokemon much
v Are you a Cowboy Bebop fan?
^ I love most things about it, had the blu-rays for a while, but the "shoestring budget" angle for the characters really falls apart in light of their damned smoking habit.
< Although smoking worked for Arthur Fleck because he's a miserable broken mess and it fits the running theme that he's not able to fix anything in his life.
v "If I bashed a girl's skull into a rock for stealing 58 cents, what do you think I'd do to [your ill-gotten guest, Mother, whose been stealing thousands of dollars from your account]?" Upon hearing that several minutes ago and typing that < just now, I realize how much like my mom I am (with less overkill, granted). Which relative do you most resemble?

^ My mother.....she was very empathetic and loved old movies and shows and songs and etc. I am also like that.

< Now I will go watch some old media to remember her a bit

v What is one thing your parents taught you that you regard highly or use a good deal in your life?
^ Einstein, relatively speaking
< only answers one query per " v "
v Have you ever wondered after you withheld a belch, how long it would take to come out the other end?
low rated
^ I don't believe so, but I know for certain that I wondered sometimes if it would come at an inopportune moment.

< Now we play the (NY Eve) waiting game

v Playing anything to pass the time until new year or to enjoy the new year?
^ I don't care what they say, Silent Hill 2/3 on PS3 was eventually made worth playing when they got the fog working. Optimization is still dull, but the lingering problems are little or nothing for me and the lone improvement (resolution) still applies.
< I might look the other way regarding Devotion if GOG made my entire PlayStation collection obsolete, but I partly say that because I know it'll never happen.
v Have you ever heard (near)unanimous negative reputation for something and found for yourself it was worth giving a chance anyway?
low rated
^ Yes, with some games like Daikatana and DNF.

< I might play some games later today, after a brief rest, to help ring in the new year in style.

v Eggo Waffles, Toaster Strudel, or Pop Tarts?
