MightyFloTheKing: v Is it hard
Your answer seems to only address the first three words of my question. Ahh well, I guess you nailed it. But I have no idea what you mean at all.
< I can't allow anyone to hand-soap my windows while being sweaty. It's cold outside, it's flu season. Those poor women. I will draw a bath for them and... wait a second... now I DO know what Hooyaah meant!
v Bath or shower? Or both?

^ Shower, it's quicker and uses less water.
< My parents and I donated to the Angel Tree again. Dad saddled himself with a terribly vague 9-year-old girl who wanted "video-games" and favors Michael Jackson. The only MJ anything we could find in both the mall and nearest Walmart was a calendar and I chose a Steam card for him because the only other semi-safe bet (something for Switch) would be thrice the price.
> Mom singles out whoever's youngest, this time a 14-month-old "asking" for riding and learning toys. The very first isle Dad saw entering Walmart had a $40 motorcycle that filled both criteria.
+ While waiting with the toys for my parents to finish clothes shopping, a woman was trying Angel Tree for the first time and I helped her pick a 5-year-old girl who wanted a dollhouse. Much easier to shop for than "laser chess board" or "Need: flat-screen TV, DVD player". She wanted somebody who's asking for clothes, and I pointed out they all do.
v I just chose whoever asks for Lego (always a few) and grab a cheap box of it; 2 years ago, I picked out a boy who asked for "Lego, dinosaurs, vehicles" so I found a $20 Lego Jurassic World toy that featured a quad-cycle and pterodactyl. Have you ever completed multiple tasks with a single act?

^ yes
< just press "Enter"
v What are you enthusiastic about in life?
^ Technological advancements that embolden us to flourish, and the Divine Art that is Nature.
< The tree-collector trucks are smaller than I expected, I've actually put out at least 2 full truckloads.
> On the bright-ish side, Mom's old neighborhood friend has promised to employ his professional tree-care business on-the-house regarding her backyard. Which is great, I was about to drag some absolute monster branches for $40.
v Also, 2 of the front-yard branches were embedded several inches into the ground, because they fell from very high up while drenched in ice into very soft soil. These pine limbs were covered in brittle thorns about every other millimeter, which reminds me of a horned lizard. What's your favorite pattern or feature shared by at least 1 animal and 1 plant?

^ fur and flowers
< sounds like a porn movie title
v What is the most interesting and unusual name that someone you knew was known by?
low rated
^ I once saw a cashier who was named "Xy"(no joke, that was their first name). Their last name(that I forget) was even more odd.
< We had a power outage yesterday. Thankfully it didn't last too long, else it might've dampened the festivities somewhat.
v Ever had to deal with a power outage? What did you do in response? And what did you do till the power came back on?

^ Yes, I yawned and took a nap.
< [waiting to open Christmas gifts]
v Merry Christmas!
^ I gave Rogue One to my dad last night and we watched it right away; if his OT weren't HK bootlegs, his Star Wars DVD collection would now be complete.
< He practically swears on his mother's grave that the bootlegs are Theatrical, but it's painfully obvious from the CGI creatures that they're Special Editions. He even claims Jabba's singers are puppets and that the trench-run was CGI in 1977.
v I once nearly bought a set that had both versions, but Theatrical disks for IV and V were missing. Have you ever felt the building anticipation when buying something special only for it to not be worth it for whatever reason?

^ That was a Cyberpunk 2077 reference, wasn't it?
< I think that we have all had that or a similar experience.
v What do you think 2021 will be like?
^ More opportunities to practice having faith in things getting better.
< I'm ready to have life open up, and have it a bit easier.
v What's a good thing that happend to you today, friend?
^ I watched Freakazoid Season 1, and decided to sell it and not buy Season 2.
< I didn't hate it, there were plenty of good jokes; but there are re-runs built into the episodes.
v Who else decided to opt out of the current sale, courtesy of either Cyberpunk, Devotion, or both?

^ I cannot provide a proper list for you, yet there are thousands of souls who decided not to purchase, myself included.
< There were four games that I had previously intended to buy.
v Where do you see GOG at the end of 2021 and what would that look like?
low rated
^ Likely more bad(and maybe some good) decisions on GOG's part...same as always.
(who knows how that will fully affect the site/company/user base, though)

< I had fun with family for the holidays, and stayed up late afterwards to enjoy old movies & shows, and was nostalgic.

v How about you? Wax nostalgic, wax on, or wax off?
Post edited December 27, 2020 by GamezRanker
^ "Wax on and wax off at a nostalgic movie like Karate Kid.
< the end of Christmas is a trifle depressing
v What glad tidings of great joy have thee?
low rated
^ As the great Peter Griffin once said: "I have some gifts for thee, they're up in my bum"
(I jest.....they're hidden in the turkey, same as always)

< Yeah, the end of the holidays can be a bit sad, but if one tries to make every day special in some way then it need not ever be sad. :)

v Life is what one makes of it, so what do you make of life(yours and life in general)?
