^ Actually yes, I rescued an unopened package of fake cheese just the other day from a recycling bin that was full of trash. The outer packaging had what we presumed to be rancid milkshake spilled on it, which I cleaned and disposed with extreme prejudice. The sleeves were half as bad until I put them in the fridge to kill the stink.
< Although I prefer that time I rescued a pair of huge cheese-bricks from a bag of discarded meat at my volunteer job; the smaller one was cheddar, the best cheese.
v What's the most extreme measure you've taken to ensure food isn't wasted?
^I eat the food I get and do not waste it. Easy :)
< Never got too much of anything
vYou like feta cheese. (Cheese made from goats and sheep)
^ I'll take your word for it.
< At first I wonder there must be a market for human milk, then I realize it's probably terribly expensive.
v Watching Agent Carter as I type this, I hope Season 2 ends well.
^ So, does that mean that all will be well if it ends well?
< My area has had so much rain in the last six weeks that I believe that I live in a rain forest.
v Have you ever witnessed a tornado? If so how close were you?
low rated
^ I didn't, but one of my parents was in the area when a tornado touched down in NY state once....long long ago.
< I myself never had the "pleasure" of being that close to one
v Name one thing that you think "sucks" about modern media
^ main stream propaganda
< Oops, was that "political."
v What would you name a pet monkey?
^ Garp, Dragon, and Luffy in that order if I had 3 of them.
< My current Spore creature is a shark-faced T-Rex with Sasquatch feet and I command an army of living plush-dolls in terms of strength.
v What's the weirdest creature you've ever cobbled together in any medium?
Post edited May 22, 2021 by MichaelD.965
^ It's actually an anatomically correct human skull (minus the lower mandible) which I created and fired to cone five; it looks like a fossil. I donated it and it's currently on display at a Museum of Natural History.
< I would name a pet monkey Shock
v your favorite color?
^Every color
<Without colors you would see nothing, not even black and white.
v You like any black and white shows, cartoons, or movies?
^ Shindler's List, I Love Lucy, The Little Rascals, original Twilight Zone/Outer Limits, The Thing from Another World and few Alfred Hitchcock winners.
< Those are all the stand-outs from my parents' collection, though; my idea of good movies was invented in the late 70's.
v A lab deep in some exotic nature or lack thereof and possibly not on Earth, several cutting-edge geniuses in different fields fill the cast, and they all must use their wits and advanced tools to their fullest to survive whatever cataclysm or deadly creature has befallen them. Any creatures involved should have unique designs that make sense in their world, especially in regards to what makes them dangerous. If there's a movie of this description that I don't know about, please change that for me.
^Does Transformers count?
<I saw The Little Rascals, a great, comedy movie I would recommend.
v What genre you like in general in movies, books, games, and etc...?
^ action, adventure, fantasy, chess, and women
< I like science fiction as well
v Do you have mad skills in Physics?
^ As a boy, I showed some potential for that kind of racing where you jump over barriers mid-step, but never while anyone was looking.
< Nowadays, I can still re-balance myself out of a stumble despite my muffin-top figure.
v Once while clearing branches off the garage roof, Dad threw a long tool up to me and it peaked in my downward-facing palm, so I just grabbed it before it fell. Have you ever done something that looked right out of a wire-fu movie?
^No, I have not
<Me imagining a scene with dramatic music like in Cloudy chance of meatballs movie and the main dude had to a very close call of not placing the drive into the machine or something. I re-image MichealD.965 in a heart-pumping moment of whether he will catch the important tool to save his roof from branches attacking it or will he drop it and lose to nature trying to claim his roof.
v Do you like to help clean/clear things?
^ Moving large things into an orderly fashion and removing uncleanliness are my favorite manual labor activities.
< Currently trudging through a Netflix MCU marathon; I realized after the fact that focusing entirely on Daredevil meant skipping over most of the timeline, so now I'm on Jessica Jones.
v By BLOB, Daredevil ended on a winner of an ending, the only way it could be more satisfying is if Fisk spent the last 30 seconds hearing about who was dusted.
