I remember having fun with these. Probably own the original versions or at least shareware demos of them.

But 3d lemmings was really really terrible.

Anyway, I support the other wishes, so they get a vote from me.

Hi there, would you mind explaining how Lemmings 3D was terrible? I am sort of attracted to the concept - but have been made aware that it could be painful in practice.

Looked terrible, controlled badly (in addition to panning the camera, you also had to rotate it and zoom in/out and the performace was bad). it didn't look like the "next step" to its gameplay, but rather "everything is 3d nowadays, let's do lemmings too.

I believe you can find youtube videos of gameplay these days.

Different people will have different tastes, but I moved away from the Lemmings games after the 3d one.

Thanks for the reply - yeah controlling the camera seems laborious based on one video I just saw, and indeed the framerate appeared severely limited. Hmm... Lemmings Revolution might be to your taste though, that's the one I'm most excited to play as an evolution of the original.

EDIT: just realised this detail - the official title really is 3D Lemmings

We have plenty of lemmings here. Just say anything about how GOG does business and they'll pop out of the woodwork to agree with you or argue with you.

I spilled my tea laughing at this thanks Paladin.

Geralt_of_Rivia: Zombie Night Terror fits the bill and it's often discounted to just around a buck. Just wait for the next big sale (most likely starting next week) to pick it up if you haven't already.
Quite good, too. I never even really liked the Lemmings concept all that much, and I've still enjoyed what I've played of ZNT (though it did get more difficult than I cared to deal with in the second chapter).
The first one is the hardest. All we need is one Lemmings game to come here and the rest will follow soon after.

All we need is one Sony to fall on its head.

I´m one of the few out there who considers 3D Lemmings the best of the series. The 3D levels gives you a lot more freedom compared to the other games, and they are very varied and creative. Ziplining lemmings from one plane to another, digging a path through a giant snowman in first-person view, climbing to the top of a ferris wheel, a rescue operation in a spaceship, a dungeon labyrinth level, hell one of them is the Star Trek Enterprise. Levels also gives you opportunities to find alternate solutions.

Sure, the graphics are ugly and you need to manage the camera, but you get used to them quickly. And the game itself is great.

I replayed it last year, beat all levels including the christmas special ones and enjoyed every minute of it. I started Lemmings Revolution right after and quickly got bored in comparison.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! I might try emulating the Playstation or Saturn version of the game and see how it goes.

Winter Wonderland is really good. :)
I was just about to start a post asking about Lemmings as I remember playing the PSP version and remember the Team17 logo. So I assumed it was a Team17 owned game and was curious why I couldn't find any Lemmings on GOG or Steam. I was reminded of Lemmings because I was watching an episode of GameCenter CX and Arino was trying to beat it.
Lemmings definitely deserves a place on GOG. Sadly, I've emailed several people, and had no response.

It's a good game, but hard as hell. I actually never managed to beat it. There were a lot of levels where I just couldn't figure out a way to beat them. Eventually reached a stage that I got all the levels I could done and couldn't advance further on the level map. Was really funny. In some branches, I've reached the end stages and in other level branches I got stuck much earlier. There was one level in the 6th or 7th column, which I just simply couldn't get past, no matter what.

https://lemmings.fandom.com/wiki/Lemmings_Revolution_levels

Got the top half mostly finished, besides a couple exceptions, but the lower half was extremely problematic for me to beat past the 7th or so column. Beat some of them, but it was more a rarity than the norm. Never looked at any guides or methods to beat the levels, but I am basically convinced some of them are impossible :P. I spent hours on some of the levels and still no dice.
