Stuck at getting the game running with constant mouse sensitivity. I can't play an FPS where sensitivity depends on where you're looking.

So far using a framerate limiter and capping it to 60 frames per second stabilizes sensitivity fairly well but that introduces other issues such as massive tearing and stutter.
The first game ran very poorly on my system, until I followed Solution 2:

to sort out some sort of hardware conflict.
All of the sudden the game ran buttery smooth, so that might be worth a try.

Already tried, and I don't have FPS drops anyway.
As a general rule, I don't get stuck - I get too bored to keep trying.

If I played more point & click games I would probably get stuck a lot since that comes with the genre.

I played the game with vsync turned on and I also experienced micro stuttering in some areas. The framerate counter would show 60 FPS, with occasional drops to 59 in those areas. It was annoying at the begging, but I got used to it. I'm actually experiencing similar stuff in many games, probably a problem with modern drivers or something, it sucks.
BioShock 1:

Boy, the character is so heavy that it's almost impossible to properly dodge the turret missiles, and I'm not even talking about the guys who send you explosives, or the fights against the Protectors (great ball-breakers like 50 shotgun shots..),

I've never seen a game so lame in its playability and its fighting system ! I hate this game. --'

SaGa 3: Turns out trying to do an all robot run has some minor downsides.

I'm not currently chipping away at other games.
Wizardry Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord: I'm stuck in the part where I die over and over and over.

What I do when my games stutter like you described is I disable Vsync in game and enable Fast Sync on the NVIDIA control panel.

I wasn't too big on Bioshock 1 either. I played on hard and the guns, especially the machine gun were so weak they were borderline useless without upgrades. The wrench, with all the relevant tonics, was easily the most OP weapon in the game. Bioshock 1 definately had balance issues.
Dawn of Man.

In my current game I have passed all the ages and upgraded all the age-specific advancements. I suppose there isn't any end-game rules set in place, because I just keep stockpiling resources and adding new villagers. Maybe at some point a famine or disease will wipe my people out. That would usually happen in Banished sooner or later. Who knows.
Original baldurs gate. Played through it once, didn't like my ranger character. Played through again. Didn't want to win that fight with the bad guys at baldurs gate using cheap tactics, those bad guys at that guild or whatever so I put it on hold. Unfortunate I still have baldurs gate installed but compared to newer games like warband, just can't get back into it. If I can pick up those stat bonus books I'll export to BG2.

Mission Critical: The Space Combat missions.... not because they're hard, but because I was enjoying my FMV adventure game until they shoehorned in a terrible space combat RTS minigame. I could probably finish it, but it killed the mood for me enough to drop the game.
I'm stuck in Yakuza 0 because I keep getting trapped in the arcades playing Space Harrier and Outrun..... I want to finish the game....... but..... Outrun!
Delta Force 2

I'm stuck in the "Claim Jumper" mission or we have to capture a uranium mine.

No matter how hard I try to infiltrate the base through the mountains or directly into the base entrance, I get one-shot every time.

*Ironic mode ON*
Damn NovaLogic, why didn't you integrate a function to save in the middle of a mission, I'm tired of having to start over 50 times this damn level --'
*OFF*

Delta force: Task Force Dagger

In the first mission I have to get my hands on documents but I never knew where to find them...

And I'm not even talking about the automap, which is "super practical" to supposedly indicate the position of the enemies, the thing that irritates me a lot: when our position is on an enemy's circle, it doesn't matter if we check that the enemy is on the floor or above us... but no, the latter will never be where he's supposed to be... I bet this thing is really bugged.

At least in DF 1 & 2 the automap didn't have this "bug", but in TFD, it's a real purge to clean the enemy area.

Xcom: Enemy Unknown

I may have a good team with several high graders equipped with laser weapons and others, but no... every time I get decimated by these Cyberdisc scumbags.

Jagged Alliance 1

I've reached the limits of my patience with the quest "Find the tombstone" and I've given up the game, the sectors are impossible to capture because they are full of enemies, most of them interrupting the turn of my men ...

Result, when it is not these annoying eels that kill my men every time, Santino's men take care with joy to spoil my existence.

I think that I have badly managed my budget and that I have not progressed fast enough (i.e. capture several sectors per day), but what an idea to put stupid quests that are absolutely useless except to annoy and stress the player.

Seriously, our goal is to capture the whole island, so what an idea the developers had to put quests, it's not an rpg as far as I know.

It's official I gave this game a second chance, but now I hate it, damn unbalanced game.

Stuck in a burning house in the first act in the Shadow Warrior remake from 2013. Cannot get the door to open for me so cannot advance. Tried changing settings and replaying from the beginning, no luck. At least the graphics are working as they should unlike last time I played the game. I guess a newer graphcis card helped. Sad :-(

EDIT: Not stuck anymore. You need to use your new qi power at least once, then the door will open.
