yogsloth: Just got my credit card bill.

$115.34

Whoops. For some reason I was thinking it was about half that.

(Don't tell my wife!)
We will not tell. But don't worry it happens to all of us.

KittyKay: Thank you for mentioning this. I checked the "New & Coming" tab to see if GOG had the game and since it wasn't listed at all I almost went ahead and got it on Steam, but if GOG is gonna have it I'll wait until it comes here. It would be helpful if they could post in the "New & Coming section that they were going to get it cause some people may get it elsewhere not knowing it'll be available here.

Matruchus: Gog does not use the New&Coming tab for coming games - its there only for new, released games on gog that is all what its for. I think the only exception were dlc for The Pit and Don't Starve that were listed there. All the other games released on gog weren't. Its one of the things that are missing on gog at the moment.

mothwentbad: I don't know. The email I got from Larian said that you can convert your Steam Beta key into a GOG key, but the D:OS Kickstarter manager says to "come back later" to do so. I'm guessing really soon. I have to wait for Player 2 anyway, but I also want to liberate this game from Steam!

Matruchus: Thanks for the info.
It appears that GOG is starting to mark some games as "Soon" now in the "New & Coming" tab so at least now people who come to the site but don't go through the forums will know that they will be getting Divinity even if it's not available to buy. Maybe that'll help cut down the number of people who may have gotten it elsewhere.

Yeah that seems to be the case. I think I complained about this 100 times already. Perhaps that helped.

There is at least one good news now Divinity: Original Sin is going to be released on gog.com in a few days - they had a change of heart after a lot of people complained about release in August.

Well in that case please keep complaining about things! It gets great results! :o)

Hmm.

Where's the "New and Coming" tab? Can't find it for the life of me ...

On the main page, to the left of the headlines.

skeletonbow: And thanks very much for making your games available to gamers DRM-free through the GOG distribution platform! I just checked and it appears that there are 32 Nordic games in the GOG catalogue which is probably on the high end for number of games from a single company here.

Looking through my game shelf, I own 15 of them here on GOG, 4 of them on Steam which are on GOG (2 bought there before they were available here, and the 2 Full Spectrum Warriror games because I wanted multiplayer support), and I've got 1 on DVD and 1 from another DRM-free retailer. 11 of the other titles are on my wishlist for future buys!

Thanks again for providing your games here!

ThomNG: So I guess I should say: thanks for buying our games ;) hope you like them!

In terms of additional titles (also possible ones from the former THQ portfolio) we are of course always in touch with our friends from GOG to see what we can make happen. Some are easier than others (Red Faction, Full Spectrum Warrior, Summoner vs. Darksiders (DRM), Red Faction Guerrilla + Armageddon (GfWL, DRMs) etc.) and some are now having additional issues (Gamespy service shut down) which we need to solve first - but as you already said, we have a huge catalogue on GOG and our plan is to definitely add more :-)

Cheers
This is great to hear! Hopefully you might be able to add multiplayer back to games like Full Spectrum Warrior series here using the GOG Galaxy multiplayer features at a later date too. I'd re-buy the games here for that too! :) I imagine any Gamespy linked games could be retooled to GOG Galaxy depending on engineering constraints and enough measured interest. Sure would make GOG'ers happy though!

Take care!
I was espacially happy with the Flash Contests! Finally I could bring my (widely regarded usless) gaming knowledge to good use! :-)
Actually, are the winners of Flash Contest 11 to 20 already resolved?
I want to thank everyone for this incredible sale, this has made gog my go to game site now, even without sales. Its so refreshing to buy games and not have big brother snooping into every aspect of my online life. Easy to download and play too. Husband and I bought a ton of games, many of them old retro revisits and not a one gave me a problem on my new system. meanwhile, on steam I have no less than 15 games that wont work at all and were a complete rip off as they knew the games had problems and were not patched and ready for wide spread distribution, yet they still sold them. done with that site forever, gog is my new home.

I also wish to know this. I haven't received any email yet, but I hope it will arrive soon (If I was fast enough to at least win one of the contests). Someone on Facebook said some of the earlier Flash Contests took around 2 days before they got their code, but since GOG had more contests on the last day, it might take even longer. Good luck on winning the contests!

I would also like to thank GOG.com and all the publishers for such an amazing sale. The discounts were humongous and it definitely kept me away from the Steam Summer Sale. Because of this sale I've been able to pick up some of the games that I've really wanted (Tales of Monkey Island, Back to the Future, Sam & Max, and many more) at a insanely cheap price. In my opinion, this is probably the greatest gaming sale I've ever experienced. Thanks again!
