my great grandfather was russian
I'm in, but I have literally zero relatives from abroad. It's not that crazy, because Poland wasn't really easy to migrate from for quite a time.
I'm in for Bigs, if I may! ;)

Someone says that my Surname has french origins, but I'm not sure about that! :)

Thank you for the giveaway!!
Gogland, actually (ie. Poland).
I'm not sure which of my nearest ancestors immigrated to the US. I know for certain that all of my grandparents were born in the US, and I'm pretty sure that my great grandparents were born in the US as well. I do know that I've got a pretty good mix from England, Germany, and Poland; though I don't know any specific culture groups.
Thank you Telika. We have a small family so I've never really heard stories from where we are from. At lest 2 generations back we're Americans so before that, I'm guessing the stories got lost.
The Plunkett name is originally French but I haven't really looked into my family tree too much. I may or may not be related to one of the men involved in the Irish 1916 rising, Joseph Plunkett, but I won't say for sure since I don't actually know.
One I am aware of though, my fathers cousin lives in South Africa... and is incredibly racist...

Also, I think this was a cool idea for a giveaway.

Thank you for the giveaway. My grandparents came from Austria in the 1930's. I think that makes me 2nd generation.
My grandfather was German.. My cousins got blue eyes, I got the surname... ;p

Thanks Telika!

My dad's family migrated from Switzerland in the late 1800's, I'm pretty sure.

In for Wizardry 8 :D
Well, I am a Romanian living in Germany, at least for now :D
Other than that, I don't know of any exotic ancestors of mine =)

Thanks for the giveaway :)
Thanks for the giveaway! Count me in :)

The only foreign parts of my family I'm aware of are my mother's father's family roots in Scotland and my father's father being Swedish. My mother's father isn't directly from Scotland, however, his family has a pretty strong lineage there, and even a village named after them. Now, my father's father was a full-blood Swede, which I think is pretty cool :D He was adopted into the States, where he met my father's mother, and "the rest is history", as they say. Besides that, I have a boring ol' American family, I guess.
congrats on the 400 rep Telika!

count me in.

thanks for a giveaway!
+!
Some of my great-great grandparents were from Denmark, England and Sweden though some of my great-great-great-great-grea-great-great-great grandparents were born in American colonies well before the US existed.
I am 3rd generation, my great grand parents immigrated from Europe early on. I actually found out my mother's side of the family owns a Castle that used to have lands that butted up against Buckingham Palace's land. Mind you I am not sure the distance in relation to that branch of the family, but it must be close because one of my grandmother's great great...grand parents is buried in the graveyard. I am a mutt, I'm English, French, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, German, possibly Jamaican, Native (Algonquin, and Métis (apparently I am able to get my native status card, I should do that now that I think of it)).

That being said, I'm proud to be Canadian. :)

Thank you, and +1 for the giveaway.
