500 games on GOG.com ready to download and play.

Enter the GOG.com 500 Games Giveaway here!

Leisure Suit Larry--a great example of the classics that got us here, or you can pre-order Omerta: City of Gangsters--a promising Mafia crime sim that's showcases the quality & variety of the kinds of games that GOG.com will continue to release (new and old!) in the future.

We owe all of this to you--our gaming audience--and we're extremely grateful. This is as much your achievement as it is ours and that's why we're giving away 500 games to thank you. To enter the giveaway, simply tell us, after clicking the link, what's the next big step for GOG.com. Should we land on Mars? Create a small DRM-free country on some lonely Pacific island? Create an evil A.I. that will threaten mankind with endless tests? Just type a few words for a chance to win one of 500 games. You can get some extra entries by sharing, tweeting, and following us on social media. You're not joining any mailing lists or signing up for anything. We just need your e-mail to send the game. The giveaway ends next Thursday at 10:59 AM GMT. Join it here: GOG.com 500 Giveaway

Thanks again, and see you at a thousand games!
I wonder if the will actually read all them "suggestions". I put down Buy THQ or some of their IP's cause that would be some awesome achievement. Really big chance of that happening thou. :D

Andanzas: This is the closes thing to a giveaway with DRM they could come up with.
And that's the most important thing to not enter - GOG should be 100% free DRM site, not like 99+%.
Just wanted to say "Thank you". This is a great way to celebrate achieving a catalogue of 500+ games. May we see another 500 more! :)
Thanks GOG, you're awesome. Also, the next step forward should be achievements!!!
Congratulations GOG on 500 DRM-Free games
To all the GOG Staff, congratulations for your milestone!

In my humble opinion, when they asked us a suggestion, I think they were thinking on a new feature rather than new games to offer; after all, we all know they will do their best to give us the most complete catalogue of games they can. So, based on this reasoning, I consider more suitable to recommend some kind of server which allows us to play Multiplayer in cases of games that are no longer supported by their respective companies. What would be the point in buying a game that you can't fully enjoy otherwise? I know that someone here already suggested this, but I couldn't find his/her post, but I know he/she mentioned something like Gamespy; I really don't know what is that (seriously LOL), but if it's some kind of program like the GOG Downloader, then I don't think it would be so difficult to implement a Multiplayer server for old games...

PS: Also, with this feature, you can have more Achievements! ;)
