Hacker, of all things.

Star Raiders. I think it was a PC and not a console, but it was a very old thing. When I got my own PC several years later, the first game i bought was Myst. Then warcraft 2 and that't the one that hooked me up to gaming.
I just remembered, the first game I ever actually played on a computer was not Wasteland or Tetris, it was The Oregon Trail in 2nd grade.
Wolfenstein 3D - ate hours of my life :P
And still play Enemy Territory, it's fun.

I honestly can't remember.

I want to say King's Quest (the first one), but there was so much shareware games on the scene circulating and collecting mold (literally) at the time that my father would bring home (and that I'd inevitably puppy dog my little kid eyes into playing), that it's more likely it was one of them who's titles I've long since forgotten.

:D
Probably Dune. The first game I remember playing a lot though was the original Need for Speed for DOS oddly enough. My memory is pretty shoddy though. I didn't really get into PC gaming until much later around the C&C and Starcraft days.

**EDIT**
Actually after doing some online spelunking it was actually an early Test Drive, probably the original. I remember I was so young that I had no idea how to switch gears into drive, and I'd always rev to high causing the windshield to break/car to blow up lol.
