Red Alert 95. Hey, I'd call that pretty good seeing as I'm a 90's child.
I would have to say it was Half Life. Anything else I remember was released after it or else the details are to sketchy to even look it up so it doesn't count.
California Games in 4-color CGA mode (like this) on the PC of a friend, laughing in disgust as I had the game on my badass Amiga.

Not much later I bought a brand new 486 for way too much money.
I watched my mom play a lot of games before I did myself. The first one I remember watching her play was Space Quest 2 I think. The first one I remember playing myself was King's Quest V.

I really fell in love with PC games shortly after with King's Quest VI and Under a Killing Moon.

Almost the same story here then. I was laughing at my friends PC until the time DOOM and Alone in the Dark came around. Within the same year or so I bought my first PC which was a 486DX2 66Mhz :)

Ahh yes this is more like how I grew up :D
I believe it was alley cat, though I was so little, I didnt know how to play it and I didn't like it because of that :))
I played a lot more of Secret agent
First game played on a computer - Omega run on a vic 20

First pc game i played was red alert. Friend showed me command & conquer and i ended up buying a computer to play red alert. Also bought civilization 2 at same time.
I think it was Doom
Unreal Tournament
The first commercial game I played on the PC was Starflight followed soon after by the first Bard's Tale.

Edit: The first game I remember playing on any computer was one of the Star Trek variants (the 8x8 grid one). I played that on an Ohio Scientific (8" floppies!!!). My first serious computer was an Eagle (CP/M-based) and the game was Enchanter.

Wolfenstein 3d. And I still own it!
First PC game I've no idea. First game on my first pc (back in 1998) was Need For Speed Hot Pursuit.
First PC game I can remember playing is Zork sometime in the mid 80's but my memory is horrible.
IBM PC? Digger i guess. Not sure if it's the first game i've played on it, but surely the first i can remember.

This one, though mine was not a "booter".
