einstein95: GOG blows up the world to prove the Mayans wrong!

PaterAlf: I hope the apocalyse will be DRM-free.
I think for some game pubs even the apocalypse won't stop DRM.

Vagabond: I know what's coming. It's a doozy.

Angry nerds that have been complaining for months will soon go to rest.
Of course I'm hopeful it will be something exciting, but you must know by now that people *always* find something to complain about on GOG.

It's typical human nature. People aren't happy unless they have SOMEthing to complain about. You can please some people some of the time, but you will NEVER please everyone all of the time.
This can mean only one thing. All GOG games will be moved to the OnLive streaming service tomorrow (well, today...). Your GOG usernames and passwords work there by default.

Enjoy!
Never Shock Fandago Forever 3!

- as a personal gripe, why did this happen at the end of the Square Enix sale :(

Nah, not Onlive.

People will log in tomorrow to see that GOG has been bought by Valve. All your libraries are erased and you now have steam keys for the games.

I think I know what it is (at least i'm hoping), it's a game that would fit the apocalyptic theme and TET's hint (in another thread somewhere) about a "new-ish" game perfectly, but I dare not say the name of the game out of fear of jinxing it.
Commander Keen: The Earth Explodes!

(probably not)

I never left.

(I actually did.)
I'm betting Final Fantasy 7 since it doesn't require a new license and has a doomsday scenario of sorts.

That'd be nice, but... I doubt it.
Oblivion. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion just confirmed.
