darthspudius: Excellent. Hopefully it will get as much love as Monkey Island did.
It would be great if they could do that kind of remake where you can change between remake and original version at any time with simple press of a keyboard key.

Hopefully, If the game on PC is going to be published by Double Fine as well then I would bet tinyE's remaining nut that it will be on GOG like all of their other games published by them are. :)

That depends on what they're changing. However I love the way they did that with Monkey Island. Though, there is no way I could play the originals again. It's not the same without that hilarious voice acting.

That's just great! But the original news called this a "remastered" re-release. So I'll try not to hope for too much, remembering the recent unfortunate re-release of Z, which was apparently completely killed by remastering.

Different kind of game and this is not being remade specifically for a tablet is it? Thats the problem Z had, it was made for touch screen devices!

Remake like "remaster" or like "alternate version"?
Because a compatible version would be good, but a new modified re-release leaves me puzzled..

It's like.. if I want to watch an old b&w classic movie, I'm not going to see the 3d effin' remake! (unless the source was bad)
Just make a sequel, or at least include the unmodified original too.

Why? I'd like to experience the original look, music and gameplay.. what's wrong with that?
Big modifications for me are good only if optional.
