Certainly I'm not the only Linux user around here.

So please sing up into this thread and also tell which distro you use. I'm hoping that if we get a lot of people signed up, it would be possible to have Linux compatibility for GOG games or at least some kind of official suport for us too. But that's only a distant dream and first we have to get those names up.

I use Mint 10 and Arch on my computers.
Knoppix
Arch user here. Though I dual boot windows for most of my games, including GOGs.

An Ubuntu user here, both at work and at home. Occasionally also a Puppy Linux user. But I am afraid I mostly still play games on Windows.
I wouldn't bet on official support any time soon. Clearer labelling of DOSbox-based or scummvm based games might be neat. Right now we should focus on showing strong community support. Most game-specific forums have a thread about the game's playability on Linux. If it doesn't and you've tested a game out, consider making one. I also think the community GOG wiki may prove to be a great resource for listing those games with good Linux compatibility and any limitations or tweaks required. Of course, it's important not to forget about the resources which aren't specific to GOG such as the wine appdb.

I used Gentoo for a very long time, but now use Ubuntu.
I have an old Toshiba Satellite laptop running Ubuntu, though it barely gets any use
(Exclusively) Arch Linux!

Going to set aside some time in the future to go through the GOGs I have, see if they work and write up my findings/instructions on the GCW (GOG Community Wiki) and AppDB.

openSUSE 11.4.
Before buying anything I always crosscheck with winehq.org, if it'll work. And I was probably lucky, because everything I wanted either works in wine (sometimes with small problems, which I hope will be fixed in the future versions of wine), or runs in dosbox or scummvm.
Was using JoliOS, but as I can't get Alpha Centauri to work properly under WINE I've had to abandon it and go back to Windows for my gaming needs.

Anyway, Gentoo user here! :)
Although Arch would be my 'backup' distro.
LFS and Debian.
Fedora and Debian here.
I'm not primarily a Linux user, though two of my machines do run Ubuntu 11.04 - one of them a laptop in dualboot with Windows 7 Ultimate, the other a netbook that I purged of Windows 7 Starter.
I have 2 laptops with Ubuntu, one of which with windows xp dual boot for GOG games. I normally use Windows (7), though.
I dabbled in dual booting Ubuntu and then Mint with Windows 7 but I never really got comfortable in either distro. Part of it was the fact that I couldn't get my laptop's mouse pad feeling the same as it did in Windows.
