Fedora user here! And also own an Android phone.

Best!
OT but worth the post: the "Tomb Raider: Underworld" version of www.gamersgate.com works with Wine 1.4 + DirectX9 (winetricks d3d9).
OpenSUSE user here
Xubuntu 12,04
Ubuntu 12.04 and Arch. Only use Windows for gaming.
Ubuntu 12.04 user here, play my GoG games on it too, using PlayOnLinux. Has an option to install games with everything pre-set up for it, with many GoG games in the list (can even download them for you). Almost completely auto-done (the windows installer parts still need you to do something but most of the Wine settings are done for you).

If you try PlayOnLinux, make sure to go to their website and add their ppa to be up to date (Ubuntu is too far behind on keeping it up to date) and all GoG games are listed under Good Old Games (game name)

Dominic998: Why do you think Gnome is crap? I haven't had a problem with it so far, though I haven't used anything else so I can't compare.

Bluekkis: Because with Gnome it is their way or highway. And their way is to hide everything from user just because it would be too confusing to have options. Best example being just recently with 3.0 they completely removed option to choose action on laptop lid close and just said that hibernation is good enough for all.
I did always like KDE more for its customization options. If what you say is true then I will definitely stay away from GNOME. If I can't hide my task bar with a simple option, then I am not interested.
Linux user reporting for duty!

Running an Ubuntu 9.10 and a 7.10 SELF-maintained to keep packages I use up to date. Surviving as well!
Hello.

I use Debian GNU/Linux Wheezy x86_64 up to date with the debian-multimedia repository.
I switched to MINT (from Ubuntu) at work, started with their Cinnamon desktop, but since it was really unstable, after a week a I switched to MATE. Since I just installed the new desktop instead of reinstalling the OS I had some tweaking to do (for example to make caja come up instead of nautilus), it seems to be sorted though.
Archlinux here!
laptop fedore kde spin
desktop kubuntu
Server - Debian-squeeze.
Desktop - Archlinux with Debian-squeeze running in a Xen hypervisor for virtualizing my server setup for development..
Laptop - Archlinux until the next alpha of Bedrock Linux is ready to be tested (next few weeks probably).
Raspberry Pi - Bedrock Linux 0.2 Alpha "Momo" running Rasbian and Arch (arm v6).
Cell Phone - AOKP latest (Android 4.1)
Tablet - Stock Android (Android 4.1)

I think that is a list of all of the Linux devices I own currently. I should note that the desktop also has a Windows partition (No VGA-passthrough on it due to older hardware :( ) that I use to play the wonderful games from gog.com that don't play nice with WINE.
Using Mageia Linux

Now, Ubuntu 12.10 on my Desktop and Ubuntu 12.10 on my new HP laptop. The old 7.10 has been hosed and turned into a Vista box. :(

Still waiting before pulling the trigger on 13.04.
