orcishgamer: Careful what kinds of pony pictures you search for... some are less wholesome... Many are simply mildly disturbing.
You mean like this

The episodes this season are just getting better and better, first the awesome Pinkie episode, and now this one.

To be honest I was kind of wary of it until halfway through, but after that incredibly catchy pop song and some really good laughs I really cannot not love it. I like how this show, despite tackling cliché themes in a not even that original manner, keeps being fresh and entertaining.
WHo here play Dungeonland ?
Been a while since this thread came up, lol. At first I was thinking someone as going to complain how hasbro is apparently turning Twilight sparkle into a mary-sue, I mean Alicorn.

Well, to answer your question. Not me, and what does Dragonland have to do with ponies? Is there a ponified version of it or something? It would not surprise me, there are very few things left untouched by ponies.
Well I made a discovery I never knew about in this show:

Appereantly the creator of the show Lauren Faust is the Wife of one of my favorite Cartoonist Craig McCracken.

Not only that she was also the helped out alot with Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends two of my favorite cartoons.

So if I criticized this show I criticized Powerpuff Girls and Fosters, if I criticized the 2 shows I crititcized Craig McCracken, and if I criticized him I criticized Genndy Tartakovsky my absolute favorite cartoonist who made Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. Basically I have ridiculed my favorite cartoonists legacy.

'Me twiching' 'Shakes head sporadically' 'Speaking gibberish'

FUCK YOU PONIES FOR MAKING ME RIDICLED CHILDHOOD!!!
Still not as great a children's show as Phineas and Ferb.

Ponies are adorable, though. And it's pretty darn well-written for a show for 4 year old girls, and surprisingly amusing sometimes. Twilight Sparkle is my favorite. Followed by... erm... the psychotic pink one? Whatever her name is.

Also, vomit mail for the win.

There. That's my contribution to this thread. Let us never speak of this again.

Tantrix is now officially Space Jesus, and I pity anyone who doesn't recognize him as the prince of the universe.

Post-finale statement

Finale moved me literally to tears. And 5 times Derpy detected! YAY
I'm becoming concerned. The more I watched, the more attached I feel.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME????

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME????
The darkness is upon ye, oh my brother. Talk to your dearest loved ones, and consider your funeral plans; the end is nigh for you *tilts hat in respect for the dead*.

My dearest loved ones watch it too D:

My fiancee and I spent a good part of our evening watching My Little Pony and eating Reese's Puffs (candy for breakfast???). We have become addicted.

But to be honest, we both really enjoy children's shows in general, not just My Little Pony. There's a reason I have a Phineas and Ferb avatar :P

Still, I find it a little concerning how much I'm starting to enjoy the show.

It's addicting because it's novel to watch a childrens' show aimed at girls nowadays that isn't garbage. Besides the novelty, though, it is a damn good show. Lauren Faust and her squad certainly know how to make shows I'm ashamed of watching, yet still watch anyway (my dad probably just assumed I was gay when he first saw me watch Powerpuff Girls).

I guess one thing I like about it (and maybe the reason I like other children's shows) is that it's just... nice. It's happy fun. Happy fun with likable, well-defined characters. Happy fun without any sort of irony.

There's not enough earnest happy fun in this world.

Embrace your inner pony.

But yes, you two pretty much described perfectly why this show is so appealing.
