Wow this is a good release.
I thought 2K had the rights to the pc version?
That's a nice release, wishlisted but definitely purchasing soon! Happy TuEAsday indeed :D
Good Lord.
Me wanty! :D Brain hath melted...or sploded...one of the two. :D
Absolutely loved this game when it came out! Reckon it should still hold up well.

One thing - does anyone know what's 'Special' about this Special Edition (GOG-goodies not withstanding)? I have the XBox Collector's Edition (with the shiny inlay and the 'Furious Wang' character or whatever his name was) - is it different to that?

I'll probably cave within the next hour or so and just buy it anyway though..... :)
Well there was a hint to EAsday, and it is Tuesday ;) Make sense now?

Roman5: Wait a sec...EA owned the rights to this? Wow, didn't know about that
Actually Bioware did, and seeing as EA owns Bioware...

Great release. I have it on disc already so I'll wait for a major sale, but still, highly recommended.

(Also, only one release again today?)

Don't forget MagRunners yesterday. Not sure if you count it as release or not.
Wow, that was a surprise. I played it through a second time a few months ago and I own it on steam. Still, a DRM-free release is still awesome.

Leroux: Wow. Just wow. Kudos to EA for releasing a more recent BioWare title here on GOG, DRM- and Origin-free! I hope others will follow (DA:O *wink, wink*). And of course, kudos to GOG for achieving such an agreement!

RS1978: Jade Empire came always without DRM and Origin. Its only copy protection was a disc check. But of course it's good to see it here on GOG. :)
Oh, ok. I just assumed that since EA started Origin, they would from now on sell all BioWare titles they own the rights to exclusively there (or on Steam). Disc check is not DRM, but it isn't as free as DRM-free either - so far this is the first EA owned BioWare game I hear of that's been released in a truly DRM- and copy protection free state, or am I mistaken?

Well, that wasn't expected.
Never got to play this when it came out so I will definitely grab it.

Not really, as they always count the actual release as the release.
