I love Morrowind. It's one of the first PC RPGs I played, and had a ton of fun with it. Never finished Bloodmoon, but I completed the other two main quests (original and Tribunal). I keep rolling up new characters to play every now and then (even if I don't get far anymore). The mods are what really give this game such a long life.

Also, I liked Oblivion. (Not nearly as good as Morrowind, but it's still a fun game.) Need to reinstall and finally play through Shivering Isles.

This game is evil and stole hours of my life. If I could the time I played Morrowind and convert it to guitar practice I would be the greatest guitarist ever.

Instead I am only somewhat decent at guitar and still quote odd things at people from the game, such as 'You N'wah!" and 'I shall rape your corpse!"

Does anyone know the name of a Morrowind mod that makes the mushrooms luminous and allow you to collect plants with a single key stroke? I have loaded the game up again but can't find that mod.

They have a "few" more features, but Herbalism mods for Morrowind do this :) You can find links for older mods of this kind in this one's description, if you want something more simple :)

There's some Dremora dude in one of those towns with the crab shell buildings. When you go in the basement you can talk to him and he threatens you with corpse rape. It might be Gnisis or Ald'ruhn

Edit: it's been a few years, and I tried to find it just now but I don't have it installed at the moment, so I don't know where exactly but it does exist. A quick google search came up with a page that says you can talk to one, but no location. I have to go to class now, but if anyone wants to help out that would be great.

It's pretty random. I remember my one friend telling me this guy in black armour threatened to rape his corpse in a town, and I had no idea what he was talking about because I thought I had seen everything that game had to offer, then a year later I was messing around and found it.

I think it is a side quest but the dialog options can lead to a fight and his threat.

That dialog? It's from a Dremora involved in a Temple quest. I think it's located in Maar Gan, not Gnisis or Ald'Ruhn.
