Little "book" mod by me, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=13902
MISS THIS GAME.
Speaking of mods, I have only use SkyrimNexus and their mods manager. I have not even looked at Steam Workshop - is there any point doing so?
I began to use mods after Workshop opened :p

Not really... as of now, is just a dumbed down version of the nexus.
Worth a look only for the occasional mod that you can't find elsewhere
Does the Nexus' mod manager automatically download updates?
I assume Steam Workshop would, so it'd be a relevant point of comparison.

*sigh* And I don't even have Skyrim.

It tells you when there's a new version. That's IMO better than autoupdates since it gives you better control of your mods, but that's just me.

Agreed.
Since we are not talking about official patches and/or critical game fixes, nor multiplayer updates that need to be in sync between every client, auto updating the mods is less needed, and has a lot more potential of breaking things up.

Yep. And some mods tend to expand in unexpected directions, which might cause weird conflicts with other mods.

I just downloaded patch 1.6. What does it do?
Patch 1.6

There is now mounted combat in Skyrim.

About time the mounts are getting a little bit useful.
Wow, my archer might actually buy a horse now. Wicked.
I don't know why but I bought it :| it's not my favourite genre for sure but it looked nice.

Any tip for a n00b player? My very first TES and it's been a looong time since my last RPG actually... what difficulty level do you suggest? I'd like a challenge but I think I'm not very skilled on 3D fights (I'm not skilled on 3D gaming actually , my favourite stuff is usually 2D :D).

Mandatory question: gamepad or M&K? I love both so please don't be "PC gamerz mastah race". :P

Hopefully I'm not going to like it :D it looks like a terrible "real life killer" and my real life is bad enough as it is.
