I used to play the entire day. Now I only have 1 hour, if I'm lucky.

Most days, not at all. Then there will be a day or two where all I do is play games.

I'm a stay-at-home dad, and somehow household chores seem to take up most of my time!... Plus we have just one computer which is shared among us. I normally get about 1-2 hours per day to play games on average.

Due to my job on the side and my hobbies that take up my evenings, I'm lucky if I can sneak in an hour or two of gaming after my 8-4 job. Weekends are a different thing. Sometimes I'm busy with other things, or I visit my family in another town, or go mountain hiking with my friends, but I'm also happy if I can set aside the entire day for gaming. It relaxes me immensely and I always look forward to it. I usually choose slower, contemplative adventure games or RPGs for such an occasion.

The one advantage of the single life and not having family nearby is that I don't have much of any responsibilities besides working and getting bills paid, and trying to save some money when possible. Anyway, that makes it sound like I have oodles of time for games, but it's not quite like that. I also love to read so some months I may barely touch any games and be lost in a number of books instead. Not to mention other forms of entertainment like the much more social board gaming or catching up on a TV show/movie... or following the World Cup. ;) And that doesn't even take into account other physical activities outside of the home.
So I don't think I can give an actual average amount of time I spend on games as it can vary quite a lot. That said, when I really get into some games I can easily sink in a lot of time within a relatively short period. For example, I just finished my first ever runs through Witcher 1&2 within a roughly two-week period and I may easily have sunk some 80-90 hours in those - yup, lost some sleep over some silly games. ;)
I've been wondering about that at times myself, but at this point I see that to be an unlikely occurrence. I've been playing video games since kindergarten - I'm closing in on my mid-thirties now - and I don't see much change in that department. What may change is what I play or how much I play, but I'm pretty confident that video games will remain an interest to me for a long time to come.

Time? Gentlemen please.... Not enough whatsoever.
Less than an hour Monday to Friday, maybe 2 hours daily on a weekend (If not working)
I sometimes play a single level of Defense grid in my office during work (but please don't tell my boss, he'll get jealous)

Naturally when I'm overstressed or fully occupied by something, I play hardly anything. I don't even feel like gaming then. Gaming for me is mostly about fighting boredom, ie. when I have free time on my hands, not knowing what to do with it. I still want to progress with certain games, hence I want to find some time to play them.
One thing I've noticed increasing my daily gaming time is the fact that I play on a laptop mostly, in our living room sitting on the sofa. So while my wife is watching TV beside me, I may be playing something in the mean time, and still feel that I'm spending time with my wife and not being away in another room. If I was playing on a console, or a desktop PC, I don't feel that would be achievable. After all, the major reason I usually don't switch on my PS2 console (in order to play some PS2 backlog) is because my wife is already using the TV or at least listening to it, and I can't use it for console gaming. Using a desktop PC would usually mean going to another room.
And my wife is actually a bit same. While she is sitting there on the couch "watching TV", I many times notice she is playing Candy Crush Saga on her phone or tablet instead. It is kinda funny, our original meaning to sit there on the couch was to watch some movie together, but unless the movie is super-interesting, I play Thief Gold or Team Fortress 2 on the laptop, while she plays Candy Crush Saga on the phone. :)
My premium gaming time starts when my wife goes to sleep though. So I play mostly a couple of hours after 10pm or so, before I hit the sack. Longer on weekends. I notice I've mostly replaced the time I'd use for watching TV (esp. when there are reruns), with playing games on a laptop. This is also the major reason I've decided not to get Netflix, why buy something I'm watching less and less?

Funny, I'm self-employed and pretty insomniac-esque myself (especially in summer when the hayfever and muggy weather trigger my asthma pretty bad) but I still don't have much time to game.
I usually have a round of something on the Wii U or PS4 while I'm having breakfast in the morning, and I usually have a game of something in the evenings around 9pm-10pm for a couple of hours, but between that I have work and want to spend a bit of time with my girlfriend/fiancée/next-year-wife.
I almost never watch TV as I fundamentally hate German TV (filled with insipid made-for-TV romance movies, talent(less) shows, censored movies with commercials every 10 minutes and what we call 'Dokusoaps' - I personally call them "Asi-TV" or "deadbeat TV"). We usually watch a movie on DVD or Bluray together.
My longest gaming stretches come at the weekends when my better half has to work, when she and I decide we want to play something together, or when she plays something on the Wii U (courtesy of the GamePad screen) and I play something on the PS3/4.
I'd say around 10-15 hours a week?

Over the last few years I've become more "systematic" with my gaming, ie. I try to concentrate only on few games at the time, and play them as long as I either finish them, or feel they are not fun anymore and I don't want to play them anymore (ever). I actually like gaming this way more, it also gives me a sense of some achievement and I get a more whole picture of games I've played, instead of the old way when I had dozens of games which I had only barely played. After all, if I read books, I wouldn't try to read ten books at the same time, would I?
The few online games I play (mainly Team Fortress 2) are a bit different thing though. I consider them total time wasters, and unlike with single-player games, I might even feel a bit of "gamer's remorse" (kind of hangover, wondering afterwards was it really worth it) for having spent several hours on e.g. TF2. With single-player games (which have some ending and objectives) I feel I am at least achieving something, while competitive online games or casual games are just time wasters.
One type of games are online games where I'd have to depend on other gamers, e.g. joining some TeamFortress clan, or playing World of Warcraft. I just feel I don't have time for gaming sessions where I have to arrange the time together with other players. I play TFC and TF2 only on public servers where I can jump in and out on my heart's content, no strings attached.
