That reminds me, I have a Steam copy of Torchlight 2 that I don't need. Anyone want it?
/edit: It's gone now.

Well, I think I have a hard copy of Sacrifice from a friend who works in a coputer shop - I guess he couldn't sell it : ) But I never had a chance to play it.

I'd say you should give it a try then. If you like it, for convenience sake, you should ultimately want to get a GOG copy for compatibility and such.

aivadroid: Just because GOG admins are laid-back people, it doesn't mean they are happy about it. Some users are simply abusing their hospitality :)

As I said it is not about if the game is available or not on GOG. It's about DRM-free philosophy, by advertising deals on these services you support DRM. Maybe it doesn't matter to you but it matters to me. I did not tell anyone what to do in the opening post, I simply asked to use some common sense, whether you will do it or not it's up to you :)
Wow, I really like it when a new guy is making the rules here ....

Was just perusing this thread and saw your offer...if its still available this far past your post, I'd love a copy.

Thank you Adzeth!

WHY FOR DOST THOU SUMMON ME, MORTAL?
I wondered the same thing early on, about posting competing company sales and trades, but I came to view the deal and gifting posts as cloud sources business intelligence.

If GOG had an issue with it, I am sure they would have locked them down by now. However, I, along with many others I suspect, would have very little reason to return to the forums.

aivadroid: Please keep your gaming deals, giveaways of Steam games(there are websites like Steamgifts for that anyway) and info about new releases to yourself, thank you!
To be honest, I've considered before that giving away steam keys does end up promoting steam a bit more. However, rather than letting keys rot, if I have a game already I rather it go to someone else that doesn't have it.

I post them here because I rather the games go to people on this forum than some place like steamgifts where I'm not even registered.

Certainly will try it one day - but now it's time to try Sierra classics at last (always have been LucasArts guy).

I put it on my GOG wishlist. That's a good first step, right?

THOU HAST NOT MADE SUCH POSTETH IN EONS!
I disagree with the OP.

Trying to make people only buy from GOG is almost like putting DRM on our choices as consumers.

Nice way to derail the thread with a spam. This another problem with GOG forums I noticed, spammers post around unpunished, circlejerk and elitism is rampant. It almost feels like I am on one of these anime boards, not on the serious community forums.
