gandalf.nho: And this one looks interesting:
Infinity Wars - *Animated* Trading Card Game

Zoltan999: Yes, I like the premise of it also...wouldn't be interested if it's online multi-player only though. About 2/3 of the way through intro video, he makes reference to playing it multi-player against opponents or "AI", which begs the question, can you play against the AI only? I sent them a question regarding this, see what comes back..
I asked them about the single-player and they responded the game have a singleplayer mode and the player will never forced to play multiplayer.

Hey, never heard back from them, so thanks for the confirmation on that :)
Thorvalla, a new single-player CRPG from Guido Henkel (producer of the Realms of Arkania series and Planescape Torment) and Neal Hallford (writer and co-designer in Betrayal at Krondor, also worked in Dungeon Siege) will be in a Kickstarter campaign launching Monday. Apparently will be based in a homebrew system, not D&D or TDE.
Solenttar's back as the IceBlink Engine :D

48$ for international shipping? How in the gods name every other project can do the same with only 15 bucks?

artbooks are HEAVY and OVERSIZED. with that price it's with tracking and signature. and shipping from that states is cheap.

other kickstarters ship it at a loss or it eats into their funding like doublefine, etc
Added some projects to the list. Will clean up older projects on Monday or something.
Antharion http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/879484120/antharion ending in few hours and Ars Magica http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackchickenstudios/ars-magica-video-game?ref=ending_soon ending in less than 24 hours.

Cairn- a 10 day pledging campaign for a game that will be made in 2 weeks. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2063410154/cairn?ref=live

Exactly. Sucks and I rejected other projects because of that, but it's Larry Elmore and I'm a huge fan of Dragonlance - I just had to.

Id like to actually know how much the book will actually weigh. Im thinking $48 is a bit too much - might as well courier the thing.
Buying something else from US to send to AU ...for a 4 pound parcel DHL charge $18/UPS $23 (courier rates). Having said that, im going to guess the high charge will include sending it to parts far far away or expensive to get to.

The kicker is, he says up front that once funding ends non-US shipping will cost $20 from his website. Sure, the total still makes it a little better to pledge now, but it feels like the US backers are subsidised by the non-US ones.

I really doubt the book is so heavy that it will cost almost 50 bucks to ship it. if it does, I declare posting physical things dead.
