FantasyNightmare: It's broken $6,000,000 with an hour to go. This is incredible!

gameon: Where's all the 6 million coming from? All i can see on kickstarter is the 2 million range...?

Some updates- especially after the starred projects not showing updates (What's the point of them then?)
Shadow update #13-Talking about Macventures and their other game that they maybe will remake. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zojoi/shadowgate/posts

Maelorum update #13: Talking about some reward changes mainly concept art and character sheets http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/314653974/maelorum-an-epic-gamebook/posts

Hero U updates #24+#25: Big updates, not surprising being so close to the end of the campaign, lots of stuff that I'm not bothered naming http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1878147873/hero-u-rogue-to-redemption/posts

And a question: I hear on kickstarter about project mentioning they'll probably kickstart their games' sequels. I always assumed the kickstart would set them up as a permanent company. From previous kickstart experience anyone know the likelihood of that?
Rewards overhauled on the Spud's Quest page:

I've seen a lot of developers who have run a successful Kickstarter project talk about this and they typically give the same answer. Ideally, yes, profits from the kickstarted game will let them make their next game without a source of funding beyond those profits. But if the kickstarted game doesn't sell well enough to do that, they prefer to go back to Kickstarter than use a traditional publisher (or a bank) for their next project. The eventual goal is to be permanently independent of all sources of funding besides game sales.

New Hero U update: New add-ons, they've also found out if everyone pledged an extra $8 it'd be funded and recommend those who done the basic digital download pledge to upgrade by $15. Please people get pledging I badly want to see this game released.

Maelorum has only $120 until it reaches the stretch goal of an app which anyone who pledges over $45 gets for free and other backers get a 10% discount. It's only $120 so even a small pledge increase or a new pledge would help.

nijuu: Buying something else from US to send to AU ...for a 4 pound parcel DHL charge $18/UPS $23 (courier rates). Having said that, im going to guess the high charge will include sending it to parts far far away or expensive to get to.
Ogre supporters paid far more for postage and the USPS Medium Box (needed for some extras) came in at $38 for them.

Larry Elmore's Artbook, at 9" by 12", would need a Medium Box 2 (retail price $32.95 for Canada/Mexico, $47.95 elsewhere - Ogre supporters got better rates courtesy of Steve Jackson Games) so his postage rates aren't out of line. On the other hand, asking for that $48 extra on a $1,000 pledge is rather taking the mickey.

Now if only he could get Jeff Easly, Clyde Caldwell and Keith Parkinson to collaborate on a mega-artbook... *drool*
Arcana Agency has entered another cross-promotion, this time with a film about the most successful gamebook series Fighting Fantasy read more here

Too much kickstarters, not enough $£€s!
This one looks interesting:
Limit Theory: An Infinite, Procedural Space Game

Hero-U finished sucessfully achieving $409.150 and they already setup a PayPal store in their site
Unusual Heroes was canceled
Infinity Wars - *Animated* Trading Card Game update #12 revealed the new faction Sleepers of Avarrach
Though an old update for Shadowgate it still hasn't been fulfilled- they will add a puzzle originally intended for the original game if their facebook page gets 1000 likes
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zojoi/shadowgate/posts/338043

Also, due to demand from fans (and probably due to being so close to their goal) Antharion will relaunch on 30th November, which according to the developer will be an improvement over the old one due to their new experience of kickstarter and preparation time.
