Strijkbout: Wow, grats, I only went from 100 to 90kg and only hit 85kg when got a sunstroke. XD
But anyway, weight isn't all that important, from excersizing you don't really lose weight, only temporary water, but you make fat into muscle so for me it's the shape in the mirror that counts, weight is in the end just a number.
The most important thing is that if you eat food that contains a lot of sugar/fructose and no fibres you will always be hungry and on the lookout for more food. Sugar doesn't inhibits the hormone that says you've had enough but after eating fibres you don't want to eat a good couple of hours anymore or at least less, so starting with a fibrerich breakfast is what I do.
As for fruit, I wouldn't deny them completely as they are a natural source of vitamins, just don't eat excessive amounts.
Yes, and the fat also (slow energy) makes one more "full", lasts longer and are more blodsugar stable.
You too, congrats! I dipped to between 78 and 83 with a low fat % before meeting my gf, but that was a bit too much as I've always been "heavy handed" sorta.
But you're right - I'm not against fruits, it's just that I don't really find it tasty other than banana and strawberry, so I really don't eat much of it. But I take shake in the morning to give me what I need, vital greens and herbalife seems like a good choice as any. Other types have either too much sugar or milk, or tastes like the Scottish meal #haggis#.
It's great that fibres have worked on you. I can't have too much sugar, artificial alcohol based sugars, OR fibres as I have IBS - it only makes me puffed and painly aware of... so yeah, I try to eat food that are as clean and non-processed as possible, but it's not easy :-D
But you don't turn fat into muscles, you technically breath it out as CO2 as part of the energy cycle inside the body (well, about 85% is oxidises with oxygen), that's why it's important for us humans to walk much or breath better to have enough O2 for the cycle, and not sit too long in this lifestyle of ours. As a product out comes water and CO2. Again, not easy xD
