DreamedArtist: TBH locals here in Ontario Canada are way too over priced. for a personal pizza it's almost 24 to 30 dollars not kidding at all... that is why its like we stick with chain pizza due to prices or just make our own at home. one place I went to last week 4 hours away from my city had pan pizza wood baked and almost cost me around 19 for a small, A SMALL!.. I wish I was in Detroit, I head of the crazy pizza places they have as well as hot dog joints.

Crisco1492: Sarducci's is CAD$40 for a 32-piece rectangular pie (i.e. enough for six or seven people). It's not too crazy. I know some locals are crazy, though, especially when they don't have much competition.

And to avoid getting too OOT... I have seriously considered preordering Cyberpunk. I just don't have a computer that'll be able to run it.
40 dollars for 32 slices is damn good! but man its rare to see that and for the cyberpunk, just wait, I'm gonna wait till the game of the year comes out with all the DLC like they did with the witcher 3. I'm in no rush to play the game at all. if anything I been using all my game time to play my hacked playstation classic and enjoying the good old days. :)

Crisco1492: Go with local places, rather than the big franchises, where available. We order from this place called Sarducci's (have for years) and it is awesome. When we're in Indonesia, we order at Six Senses or Mediterranean... none of these franchises like Pizza Hut or Papa Ron's.

EDIT: And yes, I know in the US it's Papa John's. Papa Ron's is an Indonesian knock-off chain.

Here in NE USA where I am at the prices are around 15 bucks for a LARGE at a local joint. And the chains are like 9 bucks to 10 bucks for the same pizza...so much more reasonable.

I remember Rachel Ray's(celebrity chef on the food network-US channel) 40 dollars a day show....she would see if she could get 3 meals a day and possibly a drink/dessert(optional) for 40 dollars a day. It was fun to watch at any rate.

WHAT!! omg that sounds like a blast to watch! in this day and age 40 dollars will only get you a breakfast and lunch if you are going for the full meal thing. all we have here is that ultimate chef crap that has the dude who yells at everyone and cusses his head off lol

Yeah she would go and find out of the way places off tourist strips where prices were decent and get fullish meals for around 40 dollars for 3 meals a day. Sometimes she'd have enough for a drink/dessert at the end which was nice when she could get it. IIRC it was around 10+ years back or so.

I do it sometimes because I can easily afford to do it, and don't care enough not to. Thanks, disposable family income!
I understand why years ago, but now? its pointless, especially with all the shit in the game market.
