I'll repeat what I said last time. I find it very unfair that if the employee in subject was fired because of a #HashTag. I don't follow Twitter, Instagram or any other social media, and my Facebook account is shut tight with just me and my family seeing my content.

So from my side of things if someone (not just GOG) tweets something with a hashtag and it happens to also refer to something else, I wouldn't have a clue (unless it's something obvious).

I don't know Linko well enough to judge, but if he was fired because of this, then I think he deserves another chance.

What's sad is that demagoguery is the only way to effectively communicate with people who are incapable of thinking critically. Rationality means squat.

One thing that’s obvious is that the guys complaining about Linko being fired don’t look outside their own echo chamber. If you look at other forums or gaming news sites there are tons of people bad mouthing GoG for those tweets and they arent acting like SJWs just people who think that what they did was in bad taste. This is a real PR problem regardless of what some people think and it’s creating a bad image for GoG. And it’s obviously a problem that has spread beyond an outrage mob. It’s become a public perception problem.

So let me guess, on these other forums people are talking about how GoG keeps making tons of transphobic tweets. So we are going to base what is right on whether grossly uninformed people on other forums are talking about it? I've seen a number of people on other forums saying GoG has done nothing wrong; Linko should never have been fired; there is nothing transphobic about any of the tweets. At least those forums, unlike ResetEra, which don't ban people for having their own opinions.

Sorry, I can't give two craps what uninformed idiots who can't get their facts straight on other forums think.

That's what you seem to not understand for some reason. What you think doesn't matter. GoG does not care what you think. They will probably care about hundreds of people posting on articles about them on Polygon or Kotaku though. And again, regardless of what you think (cause it really doesn't matter so far as GoG is concerned) this is a PR problem if a bunch of people are out there bad mouthing them.
It's not a contradiction. At least not by the standard metrics of what a stupid term means. SJWs are supposed to be people who are militantly pro some kind of social agenda. Saying something was a shitty thing to say is making a comment, not being militant. Likewise saying you don't plan to shop somewhere because you don't like the things they put out there isn't militant. That's a personal choice that isn't forcing something on anyone else.
