I know you think yo are losing a few sales but just getting people talking will really help your cause. I've seen you've tried self promotion but it helps more from honest to God users and websites. I actually posted a thread on /r/games that did better than the one you had posted. The reason why? People want to hear from the consumer and not the salesman.
The game has launched on Friday, it is our first game, we are indies, we are learning as we go. There will be some promotional copies out for sure to some community leaders with time. Let us first fight the angry grammar mob first. ;-)

It's getting a little weird now. Like nobody can voice legitimate complaints without the CabreraBrothers coming reminding them that they are in fact independent game developers that released their DRM free, that there is a patch coming, and that they are sticking to the price.

I think we're all cool with you being a part of the community aspects, but you're coming off as a little TOO defensive and it just seems unprofessional.

That's what i was thinking. The devs are taking the criticism in the wrong way. They can address any problems they think that need fixing, and let gamers decide whether they like the game or not.

I said that in a funny way... i'm not accusing anyone dude. And we are not a company...... not by far.

Anyway, we're taking it with humor, that's all. Maybe it come out wrong, but we're having a good time here at home updating the game.

If we lost your support because a joke that's horrible. I feel bad already ;-(

No probs. It's hard to gauge someones attitude through text. I think it's great that you, as a developer, take the time to listen to customers/potential customers.

I'm sure that your hard work will have paid off.

As someone who really, really wants to buy your game, I'm glad that you're working hard on fixing the problems that people have noticed. We haven't forgotten that you're indie developers – as I hope you've seen from your time here, a lot of us love indie games.

IMO, a lot of the criticism has come from the fact that you've promised to deliver a truly unique and memorable experience – one which many of us haven't experienced. We all want this game to be good and we all want it to succeed – so when we see a game with utterly ghastly English, making it borderline unplayable, it almost comes across as insulting.

I'm also glad that you seem to be taking the English translation seriously, though it does seriously bother me that you didn't take the time to check the text with some native speakers first. I say this because I've had experiences with Italian web developers, who took the task of delivering a quality English translation very, very lightly – and then found themselves shocked when others collectively roasted them for their terrible English.

In any case - I'm eager to buy this game once the language issues have been cleared up; I suspect that the issues with your text parser also may have stemmed from the limitations in your knowledge and use of English. That's why I really, really urge you to please, please put some good money into native English speakers who will help you improve not just the in-game text, but the game's parser as well. I know it's easy to cheap out on translation, but when you put the effort into making a good English translation, it will take you very, very far among your North American and European customers. Good luck!

I would only add that, if they had taken a different "business" approach with building a community (blogging during development, etc) instead of making a sudden splash, they could have probably gotten a native english speaking supporter to proofread for free.
Now it's probably more difficult to get a freebie with such a short notice.
But hey, everybody makes mistakes, so live and learn.

BTW, will you guys release a demo?
I'm interested in the game, but I'd like to try it first.
