BJWanlund: Hmm... I don't have any idea. I don't think they're just hinting at summer sales, though. We STILL haven't gotten even a whiff of a new publisher since that whole "we're really close to closing a deal with either LucasArts, Take Two, or Microsoft" deal.
yeah, the sudden and long silence after that just made me think that the negotiations just grinded to a halt.

So it's confirmed they'll be giving away something from the existing stock?

Can't say I'm excited when I already own most stuff here, I'd prefer they hurry up and get back to releasing more more old games

fisk0: I wish it's Sony Computer Entertainment that gives us a bunch of the classic Psygnosis titles, starting with Destruction Derby or something like that for free. SCE has had a lot of use of the #noDRM tag recently after all, even though the PS4 won't be DRM free, just not as draconic as the DRM the Xbox One will utilize.
That would be nice and also thanks forSony DADC for SecuROM :)

I'm expecting something like free Witcher 1 (and a Witcher 2 price drop/sale) to promote Witcher 3 and that cyberpunk game becoming open for preorders.

Didn't they only say that about Lucas Arts which doesn't exist anymore? Not that I think this is what will happen tommorow, it almost certainly will just be a game that I already own here on GOG going free, maybe even temporarily.

Why would they? They rarely have before, even back when they got EA signed up they didn't state as much up front, but instead announced they had one of a choice of publishers.

Well I'd love to play some version of pong again, but I would love to see a classic adventure game (ala LA). However, I would be very happy to see even something I enjoyed growing up as an (even temporarily) free title. :)
