I really enjoyed it, it was amazingly done.
It´s really hard to mantain tension during almost two hours, but this movie really succeded on it.

"The Goonies" and Guybrush Threepwood as an avatar. Really adorable combination, and almost related one.

What can I say. I'm a sucker for the classics. The Goonies is one of those movies that I never get tired of watching.

I totally agree with this. It's exactly why I like this movie, the tension. It's fantastically well done, in my opinion.
Death Race 2000 (1975)
One of Corman's best. A black comedy about a dystopian future ala "Rollerball", only infinitely goofier/taking itself far less seriously.
A surprising number of people don't seem to "get it" (including Roger Ebert, who in his review did nothing but complain about children seeing the cartoonish violence) but with a fun performance from star David Carradine, and a rare villainous pre-Rocky appearance from Sylvester Stallone- as a caricature of an Italian mobster, its not to be missed by connoisseurs of fine cinematic cheese.
I'm almost afraid to admit it...

I actually really enjoyed the Dungeon Siege movie.

Not so bad... The action scenes were correct.

It would be much worse to enjoy the Dungeons & Dragons movie, in my opinion, one of the worst movies ever made. Really.

I am a fan of Carmageddon and if Death Race 2000 were not made, we´d probably never had this amazing game.

Duffadash: Y'know, Casablanca is 17th highest rated movie on imdb.com.
Yeah, but every time I tell anyone how much I like it they go all "but it's so old! how can it be good?" "must be boring". Obviously they're not GOGers either ;D
The plague dogs. well it's not really hated, but harldy anyone knows of it.

alternatively: Heavy Metal.

I really like Eraserhead, but very few of my friends seem to share my enthusiasm.

Yeah, in heaven everything is fine :-)

jlg6184: Red Dawn

Some of you may think "Hey, that's not 'B.S'!" but most of the people I know either haven't seen it or thought it was just crap. Hell, the reviews at IMDB have it at like 5.9. Probably in my top ten favorite movies though, regardless of what everyone else thinks.

The only love I have for Red Dawn is ironic. But I also love all three Matrix films, so I have somewhat questionable tastes.
You even liked the Merovingian character?

Wait, that's the reason people hate the Matrix sequels? Yeah, I thought he was an interesting problem the humans had to deal with, along with the machines. I also thought the Zion bits were fascinating (like a tribal future), and the passageways only accessible by the keymaker further added to the complexity and unique nature of the fictional universe.
Balls of Fury

I'll watch, and be entertained by, anything with Christopher Walken in it.

Edit: There sure are a lot of good movies in this list.

Logan's Run.

Campy sci-fi flick with cheesy special effects and some rather bad acting. I love it.
