Srice n' shoot!

Shadow Warrior Complete, the legendary over-the-top FPS starring Lo Wang, the ultimate Asian badass, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99!

There is the way of the sword, the way of the fist, the way of the sub-machine gun, and the way of the sticky bomb. But there's also the way of Lo Wang, that combines them all. It also adds a bit from the path of ass-kicking and gets much inspiration from the driveway of dukedom. To define the way of Lo Wang in layman's terms, it's a Fu Manchu Kung Pao tao ninja tofu Beijing kung fu teriyaki Tokyo ramen kawaii Gangnam hentai sushi katana usagi shuriken miso samurai fighting style, but it differs from the traditional Fu Manchu Kung Pao tao ninja tofu Beijing kung fu teriyaki Tokyo ramen kawaii Gangnam hentai sushi katana usagi shuriken miso samurai fighting style in that it embraces the gift of rail-gun.

Shadow Warrior Complete feels like a mix of Duke Nukem 3D with every bad kung fu movie ever made. Lo Wang is just as much outspoken as the Duke, and the humor here is even more tongue-in-cheek. The game is brutal and bloody, maybe even more than Duke's adventures, thanks to the use of katanas. The story of revenge over the Zilla Corporation takes us through 22 creative maps crafted in 3D Realms' updated Build engine. The Twin Dragon expansion adds another 13 levels and the elusive Wanton Destruction map-pack brings in 12 further arenas of mayhem. You get all that, and a soundtrack, in our Shadow Warrior Complete pack!

Are you ready for some badassery, blood, guts, and racial stereotypes? In other words: who wants some Lo Wang? Grab Shadow Warrior Complete, for only $5.99!

mqstout: Does this work with the new build-engine ports like Duke3d does at all? I wonder if there's a high-res texture/model pack for it, too... This game has the 2nd best level design in an FPS to me, after only Duke3d.
Unfortunately not, but there is something similar: http://www.jonof.id.au/jfsw
I played NAM, it was neat to see it evolve from the Duke 3D mod Platoon, but it still felt like a mod, not a full game. Don't care for it.

WW2 GI sucked. Don't like Witchaven or its sequel. Don't like TekWar. Legend of the Seven Paladins is laughably bad.

There was also a demo for a game called Fate that was actually good. To bad it died.

wow .. I had totally forgotten about this game. Fond memories, fond indeed.
Max Payne is owned by Rockstar. Prey is owned by Zenimax.

I would still like to see them here. Specifically Prey.

jamyskis: PowerSlave (we actually know it as Exhumed on this side of the Atlantic) was actually the weakest of the Build Engine games, and ironically, the PS1 version was far, far superior to the PC one.

I still have Exhumed on disc, actually.
The Sega Saturn version of Powerslave is far superior to the PS1 version too.

Whhhat? But GooOOoooOOoooG! Where are the newer games? You promised! Don't you guys think GOG is releasing too much of this old stuff and forgetting the newer games?

:D

Hopefully this release proves that GOG tries it's best to balance releases as well as it can.
I remember playing demo of this game back in 1998 or so on my first PC. I forgot the name of the game but didn't forget the game itself. It was brutal..
And now it's back in its glory: Shadow Warrior

Not sure exactly what you mean here, but We have had several brand new releases, and these two Gems (Terminal Velocity and this) proves that there are still old games that need to be resurrected. So Good on ya GOG.
