Could you elaborate on convenient? Why and how is GOG more convenient?
monkeydelarge: I could turn to real life for these things but GOG is more convenient. I also come here to bitch. No fun bitching about life to a wall and no stranger in real life, would listen to my bitching. In real life, if you come up to a stranger and start bitching, the stranger will think you are a crazy person and quickly leave. You keep bringing strangers into the discussion, so let me reword my previous question. Am I to understand that you don't have any family, friends or acquaintances in the physical world you live in to do any of the things you mentioned?
And how are strangers in the physical world different than strangers on the Internet? Does not having an actual face and voice to go with a handle & avatar make such a big difference?
As for the last part of your sentence - what's bothering you more, the fact that a complete stranger will think that you're crazy or that he will deprive you from concluding your bitching (by leaving)?
If you noticed I use the term physical world. You, otoh, seem to make a firm distinction between your real life and your interaction with people on the Internet. Why isn't it part of your real life? Are you a different person on the Internet than the one you're in the physical world? Don't you perceive other people as real when you're on the Internet?
