GamesRater: One of my favorite films for this season Is Rudolphs Shiny New Year.

In it, the baby new year goes missing, and it's up to Rudolph to set things right while there's still time. Some great songs and scenes and characters make for a cherished bit of nostalgia for me. :)
Sneaky, little Rudolph escaped Santa for a moment and brought you a present.

And it wasn't easy, because you were naughty and changed your username again (which breaks chat and other stuff).
Cool giveaway, I'm in, I guess :D

My Fair Lady used to be on TV during Christmas time, it's not a christmas movie but it's always a good watch. Another good one was The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, also not a christmas movie, but with a high probability of appearing around christmas along with a whole bunch of fairytales including Neverending story or Princess Fantaghiro and such.

Also, Die Hard is a christmas movie to the same extent as Jackie Chan's Police Story from 1985 :D

this is also a good christmas-ish song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BIBvul7_jg
I even liked "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Grinch".

Not unconventional at all, it has been quite a popular choice on the thread, so you're not alone in that ^^ Reading back some pages of posts, we've even discussed possible reasons why it became a Christmas movie :)

For John McLane, 'tis always the season to share bullets, and make Xmas jokes (like the "Ho ho ho, now I have a machine gun" scene, among others). It kind of still counts as sharing and community, I guess ^^

I'd concur. It also makes for a great feel good movie.
I just remember I watched 2-3 years ago Hogfather, the movie based on Terry Pratchett's novel. Not bad, but not as good as the book. You need to be a bit familiar with the Discworld universe to enjoy it.
I'm also kinda stoked for Pixar's "Soul". I'm pretty sure it's not a Christmas film but it's releasing on Christmas, so, it gives off Christmas vibes.

slurredprey: Wow. I just realised that I've barely watched a single Christmas movie.

I can't believe I forgot about The Nightmare Before Christmas
It's a masterpiece...don't remember much of what happened in the movie...I should re-watch it one day (maybe you should too!)
Absolutely, I used to love it and had the figures/statuettes of Jack, Sally and the Mayor. And purchased the DVD multiple times and gifted it. Sometimes I still have the songs in my head and played one last week but I'm a bit tired of Tim Burton and his many emulators. The Italian voice for Jack is great, one of the most famous singers from the glam era and perfect for the job. It's one of those few cases where I prefer the Italian version.
I don't know how tNBC didn't come up earlier in this thread.
I just realized that PaterAlf is from Christmas Island. lol Or did he just changed it just for this GA?

gogtrial34987: My christmases have been transformed ever since I acquired myself some German relations. Twenty different types of cookies fresh from the oven sounds like it'd be quite survivable, but their goodness is offset by the national German torture pastime called "Drei Haselnuesse fuer Aschenbroedel".
Santa still smiles when he thinks about your post. He left a gift in your stocking.

Not sure about the rest of the year, but I'm 100% positive that he does that at least every Christmas holidays season. ;)

Thank you, Santa! I'll make certain to hum "naa-naa-na-na-na-na-naa-na-na-naaaa" every so often while playing this game! :D
talking about the holidays why isn't anyone thinking about non holiday movies. We all love a good musical, and I just watched the Prom which was magnificent!!

I think they changed it back in 2018 for Christmas, and then they weren't permitted to change it again, or something like that.
