Partially resolved. It's a standalone version you can download via Galaxy and offline. Forum link fixed.

The "extra r" issue in some of the Star Wars forums is also resolved.

When we get the bonus the link will be fixed. The link is broken because the bonus item in question is not here yet.

Resolved. You get TWO separate notifications under the Account menu item in the navbar. One notification is from your Friends and another is from the Chat section that you receive from people who are outside of your Friend list.

Please check your privacy settings in Orders & Settings if you are not getting notifications, perhaps it's just a setting issue (just a theory of mine).

Grargar: The forum link only works from The Mysteries of the Sith box, but not from the Dark Forces 2 one.

ElTerprise: I have another thing which appears to be broken on site (not in Galaxy). The avatars are no longer shown on the contact overview in the chat view.
I can see them fine in Chromium. Got any plug-ins/extensions you can turn off for the time being and see if they come back?

DyNaer: erm i have the same issue ; FF38.0 (version without the DRM activated -_-)

Adblock +; Web of Trust, FavIconReloader & Mozilla Archive Format as extensions.
Revert back to 37 for now, please, as others are experiencing the same problem. I would suggest filing a support ticket with a screenshot and your browser info :)

This was about the notifications for the old PM system (look at the date). But regardless, your reply got me wondering about the part I highlighted.

I currently have a number next to "FRIENDS" in the drop-down menu of the account tab in the nav-bar which represents the pending friends invitations I received.

So, how does one distinguish between which notifications are from friends, and which correspond to pending friends invitations?
Hey, I was wrong when I wrote that as I've rechecked everything and the Chat notification will have messages from your friends and random persons that message you if you have Chat set to "Allow conversations with anyone" in your Privacy settings.

My apologies for unintentionally misleading you, it was rather late...

In short, messages from your friends and random persons will show up as a number by the Chat menu item under Account.

The staff have shown their appreciation of the time people put into writing Galaxy bug reports by closing loads of tickets with the words 'Client version out of date. Please download newer version from www.gog.com/galaxy and if the issue is still there, create new ticket.'

I can see the logic of doing this for bugs like the sporadic crash-on-exit one, but they've even done it to the ticket about Galaxy installing a completely different and broken version of Arcanum.exe compared to the installer. You'd think someone at GOG would be in a position to find out whether it was still doing that...

Galaxy tickets are handled differently than Support tickets.

mrkgnao: My friends page has been nothing but gogbear for the last 6 hours. The last thing I did was decline an invitation from danielx99 (the famous gog game seller 100 secure). Since then I cannot access the page. Can someone confirm that their friends page is working.

You could do it only when you're logged out. To see your wishlist go to account>wishlist. Link to your public wishlist (which you saw on hover of avatar) is there too.

To all that have broken header/page alignment - please tell me what browser you are using and are you using any zoom in/out ?

edit: About chat issues we're aware of them and currently working on it.

ssokolow: Probably best to also ask them to hit Ctrl+0 to make sure they're not zoomed without knowing it. I've made that mistake and I'm about as geeky as you can get.
It was not a zoom problem - it's because of older FF versions (FF 28, and current is FF 40) - we'll push a fix for that.

Try again in a bit? I don't know what to tell you, I reuploaded everything DEFCON-related three times already >.>

You might as well download that one through your browser, then, as I am not sure what's going on, sorry :/

apehater: i currently use only firefox with german language in the settings and its the 2nd time that this problem occurs. had the same problem yesterday.
If this is a repeatable occurrence, please make sure to let Support know :)
