Tormentfan: So wouldn't you agree that to those of us who don't want steam, and never did, this 'free' present (which is actually just a substitution for items I DID want) is totally useless and obviously unwanted us, and that we end up coming out worse in this 'deal'?
Huh? I'm not following you. KS backers who chose a DRM-free disc (like me) are getting that, plus extra Steam keys, and even the choice of a GOG key. That's three different versions of one game. That's a good thing.

Dralel: GOOD NEWS, got a reply very quick from my email:

"Hello,

We are sorry, this is an error and we are now working on this.

Best regards,

Lynn Vanbesien
Larian Studios"
Yup, got the same reply.

It's a good thing if you want to use steam.. not so good if you don't. If you don't use it it's useless.. and I'm still not getting the dice.... So I'm not getting one thing and getting a subsitution that totally worthless and even unwanted as the other.. how is this good for anyone but those who want to use steam?

And NO, the GOG key is a separate product which I am also entitled to, the box comes with steam keys
hmm, I must have been lucky :)

I opened the larianvault, clicked "D:OS Kickstarter", scrolled down and chose "GOG" from the drop-down menu next to Divinity: Original Sin Digital topic... then I clicked "Activate", then "Redeem" and got forwarded to GOG where I inserted it into my library... the game is not there yet (as it hasn't been released yet) but I even received an automated e-mail from GOG that this game is mine now :B

Same for me. Although I couldn't select gog for my second copy.
So I backed at the 2 copies level.
I requested an Alpha key and apparently that key turned into the full version, which is cool cause I want one on Steam and one on GOG anyway. I was lucky to not request the second Alpha key so that did not redeem automatically. But I do have a problem. For the second copy while I can select input there is only one option, Steam. WTF?

I've been wondering about this myself. Is it possible that you can use the same GOG version to play co-op or do they each have their own unique identification code?

steam was your choice for the first copy? did the first copy offer both?

I don't know. Someone who has Dragon Commander might have a clue as to how they implemented it there.

i'm under the impression the duo key is Steam only.(i could make a mistake)

they changed something earlier in the vault, because i have selected GOG for the first copy & steam for the second.

when i logged-in some hours ago it was Steam & Steam , and the duo key was already generated ....

No, it can't be Steam only. Obviously right now that is the case because of the screw up they made, but normally you could get 2 GOG keys.

well i tend to agree with you , but they screw up the choices for backers :/

i know it was possible to get 2 gog keys previously, but when i logged-in the duo key was already generated. Maybe because my previous choice was gog + steam . I never generated anything in my account page, just choosen desired platform. And my GOG choice was reverted to Steam.... I have a bad feeling.

I chose GOG and the Vault reverted to steam but there's this message above now:
"If you have requested an Alpha key before on Steam, please bear with us as you will be able to change this to GOG very soon. If you do change this to GOG, the Steam key will stop working."

Duo copy is still steam only though.
My divinity just updated on Steam, though I have no idea if that means it's officially released or anything.
So has anyone actually confirmed whether or not it's coming here today or not?
