Missing my GOG-key, too.

When Larian offered the Beta-key (Steam only), they said that wouldn't fix my key to Steam - it would be possible to change, resp. get a GOG-key later.

Now I have that message on the Larian Vault: (see attachment)

I'm concerned especially because of this sentence:

"If you have an alpha or beta Steam game, your game will automatically update to the final release. You don't need to do anything."

Which is somewhat in contrast to the following:

"If you have alpha or beta on Steam but you want the final release on GOG, please come back later to change your Steam key into a GOG key."

What now, Larian?

If my beta key gets transformed to a full key, then how do you know, that I want a GOG key instead?

Or will the option to change the Steam key to a GOG key not be available until the Steambeta key is transformed into a full Steamkey?

Very irritating!

I also just (today - 50 minutes ago) reedemed my GOG key. I did NOT download any alpha or beta key on steam. As a result :
- I received a confirmation email from GOG
- LarianVault says"delivered"
- ... my GOG bookshelf is still missing Divinity Orignial Sin :(((

They haven't got the game ready here yet. so that's why there's nothing on our shelves. Don't worry. It will show up.

To me it's obvious it will be available. So, for now you can play on Steam, and when they finally let you change to GOG, you will get the option at the larianvault.com . For now, there's another irritating problem, with GOG this time - after you redeem your code D:OS is not visible in your collection, and you can't start downloading the game. And I hear that people are already downloading on Steam :(

Thanks for your clarification ! By any chance, do you know about any ETA ?

Well, I -for one- won't definitely activate the game on Steam today (it's not even installed at the moment), just to be on the safe side.

Regarding the "invisibility": that wouldn't irritate me much.
Only if the game is officially released here on GOG and then is not in my collection - that would be a reason for me to worry.

That Steamusers can preload - well, it's not the first time, that Steam users and Non-backers get a preferential treatment towards backers /GOG-users.

Sad but true.

;o)

Thanks - also received a feedback from GOG support that it should be available in approx. 2h...

Well, that's more informative than the post I linked to. =)

Dralel: Not true, I am a KS backer and my GOG key is not there.
Honestly, this might not be a bad thing. Right now the game isn't accepting the Kickstarter codes on profile creation. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon, so that once you get your copy downloaded from GOG, you can create your profile and right away get whatever bonuses you may have been eligible for from the Kickstarter.

Thanks for the info - just hope GOGtime isn't too far out of synch with realtime...

Yeah, I was scared when I saw that too, but from the other sentence I gather we'll have the option to choose again even if the beta code was redeemed, by that de-activating the game on Steam and having the option to get a GOG code.
I hope I'm right :D

Me too! ;)
It's disgusting the game STILL isn't on this site, almost before the Steam summer sale end. Not even a "it's coming today don't worry" from an admin, anything...
I have duo copies so I don't have to worry that I can't change the initial steam version to gog even though I've chosen GOG all this while, problem is I can't select GOG on the 2nd copy lol
