KiNgBrAdLeY7: The alpha version of Diablo 3, codenamed diablo 2.5, which had been the official work of Blizzard North, shortly before it was forced to disband. Sadly, it is forever lost and blizzard doesn't even mention it, let alone give it out to the fans, especially those who HATE what they have done with 3...

This is both my dream game and what i consider the TRUE diablo 3.

We don't even know what the original Diablo 3 would be like.

Besides the ending to Diablo 2 Lord's of Destruction felt conclusive.

Anyway my dream game would be:

A new Metroid Prime game on Nintendo's next console after Wii-U (or for Wii U)

Ditto for a Super Mario Galaxy 3 for either consoles.

And a Far Cry 5 that takes place in Africa and brings back elements of Far Cry 2. I want my jamming guns and detalied recovery animations. Along side Wildlife and variety of Vehicles (including flying vehicles)

LesterKnight99: and they should get the guy who voices skeletor on robot chicken; if they're going to go all-out, they have to bring him on board.
lol, this guy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvswepZNgSI

With a rhino poachers dlc. I'd love to have a game where I could wage war on those bastards!

And that map system of Far Cry 2.

Goodness that game is underappreciated. If only it had more.

I for some reason completely missed Far Cry 2. If memory serves I didn't have a pc at the time that could run it well, so I sort of just skipped it. Always looked good though, but the stories about persistently respawning enemies at previously cleared areas kinda worries me a bit.

I know, but I've not been able to make my mind up about the game for at least 3 years :)

For your sake get it on a sale.
Well, i have another dream game. Gothic 2 gold as is, but with combat system completely identical to this of blade of darkness. Of course, i know this can never happen...
I want a game that is real, and potentially already made... Starcraft Ghost. If it had to be genre-typed, a sci-fi splinter cell/ Metal Gear. How hard is that?

All my other ideas are games I hope to make one day.

-Sci-fi FPS/TPS role-playing game.
-Open-world, competely sandbox style where everything respawns.
-Full support for modding, with none of the actual game hardcoded. (NO PAYING FOR USER-MADE MODS OR CONTENT. EVER.)
-Sequels to the first game in the series being fully compatible with the original engine, so you can play through the entire series with one save file. Characters are fully portable between sequels and expansions.
-Wide variety of character classes and multi-classing. Choose between dozens of melee/ranged/support/AoE/healing character types.
-Control a team of up to 4 characters - switch between active characters while the AI takes over the rest
-No central storyline - instead, there are several large quest lines.
-Unreal Tournament style dodging-based combat (not cover-based). Your characters are meant to fight out in the open and dodge everything. There would be some abilities and projectiles that can't be dodged but those would be balanced out with energy cost or lower damage.
-Wide variety of in-game vehicles, ranging from trucks and light tanks to hovercraft and small spaceships.
-Online cooperative mode - have your friends take over control of your companions or bring their own characters. (Everyone must be running the same set of mods for this to work).

-Innovative futuristic art style - NO dark/gritty.
-Options for ultra-low graphics so it can run on low-end computers.
-Designed for computers - no dumbing down of the UI so it can run on a console.
-Spacesynth and techno soundtrack - because not every game needs a crap orchestral soundtrack

-NO blood/gore or excessive violence. Damage results in lighting effects such as sparks, light globes, shaders/dynamic lighting, or energy particle effects. NPCs simply topple over or disperse into the air when they run out of health.
-NO romance.

-NO account-based DRM or computer-damaging DRM. No limited installs.
-NO lame DLCs or in-game microtransactions - all extra content such as DLC and expansions will have a fair amount of content for its price.
-2 distribution options: a boxed edition with installation DVDs, and digital purchase on GOG only.

Yup, I'll definitely keep an eye out for it on a sale

Matewis: I still have to play it and it does look awesome, but what I'm talking about is a similar isometric post apocalyptic game but :
Like F1 and F2 it shouldn't really be a party based game, with only 2/3 henchmen max, and
like F1 and F2 it should be extremely open world. Admittedly, I'm not sure how open world Wasteland 2 is having not yet played it. It's on my backlog :)

Fever_Discordia: UnderRail looks pretty sweet too, if it ever gets out of Early Access...

Matewis: Cool stuff, didn't know about that. The fallout inspiration is strong with this one, and some of the visuals even look a bit like a cross between LBA and Fallout.
get the big alpha downlaod and try it yourself i am trying it out now, its a bit heavy on my machine
quadcore 2.67 8 gb ram win7
nvidia GTS 250 1gb ram
17inch ctx monitor (defaulst at 1024x768)
the screen is to blurry for me becuase of the old monitor (cant buy others then ctx because of known reasons)

The game looks like fallout classics and many steam users think its wonderful, but i would also read the down votes, cause these are making a lot of sense, and i read some of these and i can agree on lots of things, and afteral it is not fallout and i think it will never be fallout, the graphics look like pixel and vector combo, the way to walk is drawing a sort of line and then move ? what a weird way of moving, i also think the devs wanted too much, theres to much happening on the screen at once, to many dialogs, too many long conversations.
Character is also a bit small, you need a microscope to clearly see where you are.
Underrail had loads of potential, i hope the devs take the time to read all the steam and other feedback
especially the negative ones, cause these will tell what is good and what can be done better.

As it is now i stick to fallout classic, when you talked to npc it had atmosphere, this talking in underrailed looks simpler.
I also liked the animations in fallout classic a lot.
My suggestion to the devs is, play the original fallout classic a few times, and dont be ashamed of 'copying' more things to make it look like fallout, cause the more it looks like the great fallout classic the more i like it.
The way the combat goes now looks more like invisible inc(i have that game but its not what i thought it would be)
Furthermore the graphics look like vectors, so my tip too the devs please use graphics in fallout style.
And last but not least, The inventory is too much, there are just too much items you can use and combine, fallout was simple , had simple layout and inventory and i loved it.

Finally the movement in the dungeons, when moving neighboring tiles and locations are visible light up and are displayed,/revealed, please dont do that, please do it like fallout classic did when you walked through the dungeons.
And yes fallout classics were the best games i bought , second are jagged alliance classics, baldurs and all things like that., ow and also the classic commandos, these were good games, good graphics, and no vectorlike invis. inc.
uses.

Will post my remake list again:

- The Suffering: Prison is Hell & Ties that Bind;
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines;
- Blood Omen/Legacy of Kain saga;
- Far Cry 2;

All of them, bigger, better, overhauled in the GFX department, added gameplay, added complexity, added difficulty, loads (I've said LOADS) of options mess around (gfx, sound/music, gameplay, etc), better and more quests, mod support, overhauled writing (but with the option to play with the original) and no DLC, pre-order or exclusivity nonsense.
Free-roam game.
Play missions in ANY order.
You can fly like superman.
You can destroy anything (like Red Faction Guerillla)
Lots of difficulty options to play how YOU want to play.
Beautiful, Lush environments

Customizable Controls
Customizable Hud (and game is actually playable without hud)

Basically, a combination of Just Cause 3 and Red Faction Guerilla, but with more options and better missions.
Time.

Lots and lots of it
